In this video, my fishing boat almost sunk to the bottom of the creek! This is one crazy fishing story right here. My buddy Walker and I were very fortunate to get the boat back on the trailer. This video starts after Walker and I notice a substantial amount of water coming in from the back of the boat. We definitely had some up and down along the way back to the boat ramp. 5 gallons of flex seal and 2 fat paint brushes, 50 cans of spray foam, 20 or 30 boat bumpers, or take a floor jack and jack the Bimini top up high and pull another boat underneath it. Go get 'em Tiger !!!

Thank you for sharing this very educational video. I’m confident it will remind all of us that being on a boat on any body of water can be dangerous and we should always be prepared for emergencies. Clearly you all didn’t panic, kept level heads and resolved the situation without anyone getting hurt or worse. Thank God it all turned out well. Now you can breathe easy and hopefully get that boat repaired and back on the water!!!

boy, hard to enjoy the outdoors when stressed over not knowing if you are going to keep your pride and joy above water. I was impressed with the Milwaukee water pump; I have Ryobi Tools, so I went and looked, and they have a pump similar to the Milwaukee $159.00 tool only. it pumps 15 gallons a minute, thought that I might get one. who know I may run into you on the lake someday. lol glad you got your boat back on the trailer.

This happened to my 21 foot bass boat. I've never been back out on the water with 2 - 1,000 gpm pumps installed. Peace of mind is worth the money.

Been there done that. The only boat I ever owned, sunk to the gunnels. I had my 9 year daughter and her friend out on the lake. Had a snag put a hole in the hull. I got it close to the shore and swam with the girls until they were on shore, then swam back to the boat and grabbed a rope that was part of the anchor and started swimming pulling the boat. A couple of guys on another boat, and tied on and pulled the boat 300 yards to the ramp where I could get it back on the trailer and tow it home. I scrapped the boat and never bought another one. I do understand how you felt. But just like me, nobody was injured, and you lived to fish another day.

Heart stopping, nail biting adventure, for sure. Wow, was a miracle you got the pump and multiple batteries. Could have ended so differently. Praying for a quick repair, and minimal collateral damage, so you can be back on the water doing what you love and are so good at....catchin' those crappie slabs!

Bad day but could have been a heck of a lot worse. Glad yall got it back on the trailer. If you spend enough time on the water its going to happen sooner or later. It has happened to me twice. Once was at Lake Cooper when a stump removed the plug from the boat as we went over it. Another time was at Lake Ray Hubbard when a rock cracked the through the hull livewell pump. Took forever to figure that leak out.

If anything like this happens again as long as you are moving forward with a little speed over an idle pull the plug on the back of the boat. It creates a venturi effect and will drain the water even faster than just the pump but replace the plug if you slow down or stop
