Hi, it depends on the type of visa. For the Critical skills visa, yes it must be a 2 year work contract. But, for general skills visa, it doesn’t have to be.

This is very good, I will share to my friends in India. However I believe that most recruiters will agree, pdf is not ideal anymore for CVs as it will go through an ATS (Applicant tracking system) meaning a computer will read your CV before a human does. Computers can read word or google docs easier than pdf and will transcribe into the output for user more accurately

@@hiralshah3709 There's no surety. You can apply by mentioning that you will sponsor yourself. And if you get the job, then you can use that to apply for CSEP. Without a job offer, CSEP application will be rejected. But with the offer letter, there are high chances that you will get CSEP, provided other documentations are taken care of. Hope this helps!

Hi, I am a CA working as a consultant in one of the big 4’s. I do process and controls reviews I.e process audits, risk work & etc. went through the critical skills list and it seems pretty vague. Can anyone advice which category would I fall under?

You can pursue ACCA that comes under bracket of Trainee accountant which is in the critical list. U will have to give 4 papers out of 13 papers to be an ACCA.

Highly misleading video. CSEP will not be issued without the employer's sponsorship. And no legal liability is taken off the employer because the candidate applied for CSEP.
