@Ryanm13988 Funny! Yeah, sometimes traffic is heavy. Nothing you can do about that. However, ordinarily increase speed with blinker on so as to blend into traffic. Merging is the art of driving into a space. Look for the spaces, and blend into highway traffic.

8 years ago I got my drivers license, from that time I never liked front parking. I always liked reverse parking. It used to more comfortable for me that front parking. At the beginning I needed to do it with 2 - 3 attempts but now I can do it right away. It feels good when you drive back from that parking spot.

Different scenarios 😮require different parking 🅿 😊. If you are parking against a wall and you need to put things (groceries etc) when you return, then it's front parking that's required. If you park in reverse then you cannot load your goods 😅. Reverse parking helps you to get out of the parking lot, faster 😊

When i got my driver's license (over 50 years ago), reverse parking and parallel parking were part of the test. If you couldn't master these, you didn't get your license.

6 years ago when I got mine you had to successfully reverse park in the yard before you were even allowed to drive out of the compound to continue with the rest of the test, where you would have to parallel park if there was a space available along the testing route.

I would say this could be unsafe since you go into the opposite side..the best way is to align your steering with the second car park ahead of the the one you want to park in and then turn your steering wheel completely ..by doing this you park precisely and there’s no need to readjust your car, my driving instructor taught me and I followed the same thing in my test and it was all good 👍

This should be common knowledge and a requirement to get a driver's license. It's about the only way I pull into a space. Makes it easier to get out pulling forward.

This is so true and when I see people have reversed into a space at the supermarket I ask myself, “why?” Once or twice in the past I have actually pulled up to the car as close as possible so they can access the boot/trunk. 😜🙈🤣 I don’t do that anymore as I’ve matured since. 😊

@@chrisgironde6669 Not the same. In one case you back into a parking bay and leave moving forward into the traffic so you can easily see the cars and carts etc. in the other, you drive forwards into the parking bay and later reverse into the traffic. You don't see as well.

Two comments: 1. how far your car is from the space line before you start? 2. When you can see the corner from the side mirror depends on how your mirror is positioned or adjusted.

Thats actually true. When i tried this first time in empty parking lot i parked on the line between two parking spaces🤣🤣 This method doesn’t work same for all cars. You have to adjust accordingly.

Backing into a space allows you to where you are going while backing in and have perfect viewing for leaving when it most important. I have been doing this for 20 years.

This 👆 may look easy... But there are a few factors to be reckoned with... 1. This is for Left hand drive cars (obvious). 2. It assumes that your car 🚙 mirrors are properly aligned. 3. This is just a model. If you have different sized cars, you need to make adjustments. 4. This assumes that you noticed the gap between the car's body and the car you are crossing (T distance) 5. Assumes there are proper lines. 6. Assumes the lines are not drawn tight due to paucity of space. 😅

Step 1 : find the spot Step 2 : just drive forward and park like a normal human being Step 3: if you failed on step 2 then make sure you go back to step 1 and repeat. Step 4: if you failed step 3 at least 3 or more times then proceed to your nearest DOT and turn in your license. 😑

When you see the corner of the parking space in the "rear view mirror?" You drew a line from the right side mirror. Good luck seeing the marks in the "rear-view mirror." That's the mirror in the middle of your windshield. It' helps if you name the crucial mirror properly.

the new mirror is not adjusted properly. if you watch how to properly adjust mirrors, you will see that it will be based on view of that line.

I trained my kid to drive backwards around an entire empty parking lot. Being careful to stay in the lanes and not hit any “invisible” cars. She probably had a whole 20 minutes of driving backwards under he belt before she got her license. Now she’s over confident 😂

I drive an F250 Super Duty. This is the only way to park, unless there are two empty spaces next to each other. But you have to be quick on the backup, because the jerk behind you will try to steal and jam into the spot, crooked. Avoid the mall, if you can.

What is more easy is just to turn left on where you start and go into the parking slot directly infront of it and then do immediate reverse. Boom! You're done with parking precisely 😂
