I have found them online on eBay, AS an old Supercharger kit. I have meet other people which know this kit and they Said to me there where build 27 Kits from a company which selled them in Probeadditction.com (which ist why this Channel hast ist Name :D ) and Just a few Kits more as a second edition...maybe they are a few more then 150 pieces Out there (so gar I know). Sorry with other words the Chance to finde a Supercharger kit ist pretty Low :(

The old plunger thing is a VAF. Volumetric air meter instead of Mass. Cool setup. You could probably get away with the Millenia MAF swap. It should be able to handle 5 PSI. MAF swap thread on ProbeTalk should be able to answer any questions.

I have a 93 gt about to put a klde in. The original motor only had 11k. Of course I will hold on to it. But this project I am interested in see you finish. Good luck on your venture with this hope you complete it. Sounds out of this world and all so inspiring

Gen 2 MX6 and Probe GT should have sported with KLZE engine from factory. Alternatively, creating a top version with 2.3 LT KJZEM Miller Cycle engne. The car would be as valuable as RX7 then... Still a great ride anyway :)

Hi, thank you very much :) I made a few calculations and with the actual boost I can make approx 235 HP which is not that much, but I can decrease the pulley size which would increase the boost so that 300 HP would be possible. I guess that for more power you will need a bigger blower or a turbo charger. But everyone how knows the probe knows that his weak point is not the engine and the gearbox and the stuff around will definitely not hold more than 300 HP and approx. 400 Nm of torque for a long time.

I picked up a '95 Probe GT with 247k kilometers on it. I want to restore my car. Fixing the engine up first, clean the car up all around and one day get it repainted. Love these cars

Connect the cracked turbo pipe with a strong hard but maneuverable rubber section the one with iron strips inside.use iron closet rings to tigh them strong fix.

Dankeschön =) JA man sollte definitiv nicht ohne Luftfilter fahren weil immer ein gewisses Risiko besteht, dass der Motor schaden nimmt. Bei mir war es jedoch nur 600 Meter zu dem großen Parkplatz und zurück. Der wagen ist nicht ansatzweise fertig und ich habe schon wieder ein neues Konzept für Ansaugung vor dem Kompressor. Dazu gibt es hoffentlich bald auch ein neues Video =)

Its been a while since the video was published, but I really want to know, so the pulley shafts for the supercharger is a custom made one right? What are the belt numbers of the accesories and the supercharger?

I’m guessing that’s from a previa or Mercedes. Is that really meant to run with the supercharger disconnected at the electromagnet? I also like the mad max part of it. Because you run more fuel to air under boost. How would that part work?

This is supercharger from Mercedes and the electromagnetic coupling ist also from Mercedes and switches on under full load from the Mercedes ECU. The funny part is many people think that a switched supercharger is not possible like in the film Mad Max, but Mercedes has it stock :D To regulate the AFR you just need a progressive fuel pressure regulator. So far from theory....

As with my 97 GT, always a work in progress. They are a timeless design, and now with a supercharger, your car will fly. May I ask, what clutch are you using to connect all that power to the ground? Nice car, keep the updates coming.

For your first Car...oh wow okay :D I personally had a much slower one as my first car and you defently should do some maintenance on your own, which is not to difficult on the probe, but maybe a big step for a first car. The Probe handels well with 20 mpg.

@@Demitron289 Sind gerade am Bauen, daher ist er erst mal bis Mitte nächstes Jahr aufs Eis gelegt. Nur noch Zylinderköpfe überarbeiten, MSQ und ein paar Schläuche kaufen. 400-500PS sind das Ziel :) (Getriebe dann noch aber das ist ein Kapitel für sich. Erst mal darf er laufen :D )

Yes, I really did consider about both. The cam really wasn't enough power for me and the Turbo kit always comes with a lot of universal fitment stuff ans I really don't wanted to have the hot exhaust pipe which goes around the entire engine bay. Turbo and supercharging a vehicle makes no difference in power as long as we talk about the same level of boost. Only a very small amount of power goes to the supercharger itself, especially when we are talking about the small Eaton M62 here.

Sorry my friend, I bought the entire kit from eBay, just like I said in the video. I am already explaining what I have changed or what the included supercharger kit parts are. To make a video about the dimensions of each part you need to construct would go completely beyond the scope.

Ahhhh...okay it is a very long time ago since the valve cover has changed as it was also leaking. Please use the original gasket not a cheap gasket from ebay. Normally you can still oder them from Mazda and the original gasket from Mazda is actually thicker! Then you can a Rtv but not to much only very little. I do not know any more the brand or the name of it but they are more than just one in the market and you can use the same for example then for oil sump ✌️
