First let me think my wife for always letting me do whatever crazy project I want. This Frankenstein fat chopper trike has always been a dream of mine. It's a Lotta fun to ride and get a lot of looks

Yes the bike I build weighed 90lbs and without the electric motor it would be hard to move. I sold it, it was a fun toy but not practical.

Utah Trikes is really the bomb! Check them out here on KZfaq. They have several videos that describe the various models of trikes and QUADS they put together. Recumbent trikes are far more comfortable. Check them out! To me, the ultimate recumbent trike is the HP Velotechnik Scorpion fs. For seniors, the Scorpion Plus.

You gotta work on that bike fit. A banana seat might be a good option. Those tires would drive me nuts with the sound

The sound was crazy and the tires would wear out after 200 miles. But man that bike was an attention getter, sold it for $2800 and lost money on it.

Very nice. Where did you get the fat wheels and tires ? Is the rear axle a bolt on ? If so, where did you get it ?

rear axle was from Utah trikes, they have everything you need.

Awful, it blew up in 2 weeks from the torque from the Bafang motor. now I just have a one speed hub but it's so fast I still do 20mph no problem.

What size rear hubs are those..36hx80g ? or 36hx120g ?

They are the 36hx120g, you need that width.

@@BryceLovesTech the only hubs I could get to work with my trike rear axle were the 36hx80g...just gonna have to pray they work on my 80mm rims. The spoke pattern isn't that wide , so I think I may be OK ....we'll see..😁

The rear wheels are too close to each other in relation to its overall length. And the seat height is too high as well. This is a straight ahead only contraption. Turns are problematic and dangerous. I don't see the rhyme or reason for this build.

Not gonna disagree with you there it was pretty unstable you actually had to slow down to about 5 mph to turn it. But boy was it fun in a straight line
