It's interesting to me how often people who are part of life-changing things can miss the power of what they did. To Sir Guinness Star Wars was a relatively minor role in a somewhat cheesy B sci-fi movie with a rather predictable "King Arthur" plot. It was a paycheck. (A rather hefty paycheck it turned out, his contract included a fraction of a percent cut of the box office.) He was rather uncomfortable with what a cultural phenomenon it was, and how, frankly, obsessed the fans could be about it.
