@@squidboitoys true it would be a great idea that works for any sort of collection- I think a two episode format would be perfect, Brooke ( or whoever wants to do this ) travels to meet a collector, but they don’t meet at that persons house they meet outside of that collector’s favorite spot to hunt for goodies to add to their growing collection, during this episode is where Brooke would kinda of ‘interview’ the collector so we get too know them on a more personal level before they start asking questions on how collecting entered their lives. At the end of episode one they show of the haul, tell us how many places they went and how much money was spent - I think this would great in series format because it will show an honest depiction of sometimes you have to really grind and hunt - sometimes you end up empty handed and sometimes you hit the motherload with multiple grails. Over time this proportion of the show would start to show some really interesting datapoints ( here’s some made up examples of what could be uncovered- this state seems to have more bratz - in this state we find a ton of my scene etc) of how the local economy and population demographics could’ve effected the disputation of certain doll lines and price points. I think that could be really interesting! And of course episode two is where the collector welcomes us to where the magic lives within their spaces ( I assumed most collections will be apart of their homes and apartments but maybe we will see some workplace offices, or sheds, storage units who knows a really sick tree house that holds a Tarzan collection - the possibilities are endless … but yea mostly taking place in peoples living quarters- and this where the host will ask kinda of broader questions about collecting so the collector featured in the video gets to show off their personality and get to have a part in how the conversation/ interview flows. Depending on the collector we can find out how having a collection effects their friendships, love life and families, what advice then give to their younger self and few questions that hit those kinda of themes so it could help younger and future collectors who watch. P.S: I apologize for how long and unstructured of a reply this ended up being , I’ll probably come back later to edit this a bit ( I’m too tired to do it now, when I get tired the astigmatism in my eyes get worse so I typed all this with one eye closed and the other eye was/is very squinty )- at the very least to add paragraphs/line breaks and to fix the guaranteed heaps of typos. When I do I will be sure to leave a note that this reply was edited and I will likely delete most of this p.s section too

yes!! Thankyou for saying this, I love Brooke so much but have noticed she gets so excited that she doesn't let the other person Finnish what they are saying. I get it, she is so happy to share her friends collection with us all, she just needs to work on letting the other person Finnish talking before cutting in. Other than that you can tell she is such a beautiful soul inside and out.

When you are trying to talk to your friend excitedly and keep it an engaging video and keep it moving at a good pace that’s about a million variables and in the moment it is really difficult to manage :/ me and Rachael kinda equally did it to each other in this video though but I edited a lot of it out because I was hoping to avoid these comments

@@xCanadensis I didn't mean for it to come across as you being the only one. I just noticed that a word got dropped off when I posted my first comment and it made it seem that way. I meant that I wish you both had taken turns more. I just have a hard time catching everything that is being said when people are talking over each other. You both had a lot of really interesting information but I unfortunately missed a lot it of because the over lapping conversations. I am sorry if my fist comment came across rude or combative that was really not my intention. Relaying tone through writing is difficult for me, same with interpretating tone. 😖

This was an impromptu video of friends who only just got to meet each other after years of being friends online, filmed a few hours before Brooke Having to catch a flight back across the country… what did you expect a scripted interview? 😅 Brooke typically films alone and Rachel is a mom I thought their dynamic together was really endearing, too passionate collectors excited to share the love of the game within one another and I’m just happy Brooke was able to film and Rachel was gracious enough to have it shared to Brooke’s audience. I’m sure in the future if them get to film together again the excitement will be different but at equal level all the same. Ps I don’t want you to think I’m scolding you, cause I promise it’s not my intention - I know people have different attention spans and everyone has different sensory needs and different abilities when it comes to audio processing & Brooke is pretty cool with constructive communication but i donno your comment made me a bit sad I know if this was my video it would’ve felt like your were stepping on my joy a little bit
