As a rule, such collars are generously decorated with beads, sequins, rivets, embroidered or trimmed with lace.
First you need to choose the shape of the collar, then the fastener, it can be in the form of a ribbon, a button, a button, and then you can start making it.
In the cool season, the same collars will be sewn from warmer material. Fur, both natural and artificial, is perfect for this idea. You can take it from a hat, which few people wear nowadays. Most people prefer knitted and knitted hats. Or take ready-made fur from the hood, which already comes with a lining.
I will sew this accessory from a small strip of fur. On one side, I cut off 2 cm in the middle to make a bend for the neck. You can cut the fur using a sharp knife, such as a stationery knife, and only the fabric itself, without damaging the pile. And if you do use scissors, then cut the fabric with the tip without touching the fur.
Then I cut out the lining to fit the collar and padding polyester.
I cut strips of fabric 10 cm long, folded them and stitched them. This is so that you can then insert a scarf or scarf into them.
I stitched strips on both sides along the entire length of the lining.
Next, I folded the fur and lining with the right sides facing inward. To prevent the fur from peeking out from the seam, you need to push it inside using a needle or other device.
I turned the collar inside out and sewed up the hole by hand.
The collar is ready, it is convenient because it can be worn under any outerwear or even a sweater.
At the same time, you can choose any scarves and shawls and tie them in different ways, and each time the collar will look new.
