I'm glad you got help. Sometimes it is best to go through things with strangers. It's easier to express yourself in an honest way and let it all out. Ultimately you are the master of you you can be guided within the silence of your soul and the fragile beating of a delicate heart. You will learn the calm and beauty and strength from listening to your own soul. You have the answers trust and listen and have faith in you. No need to run away from yourself anymore. Why the helll should you. I wish you well. You are going to be fine.

Wow. You’re so strong and courageous, and I really appreciate your mental health videos. I’ve gone through similar experiences (abuse and cptsd) and sometimes it feels like I’m trapped in my mind. I’m 17 currently and I’ll be leaving for college in several months, but I’m trying to work on myself mentally and not let toxic family members get to me. I’ve also been registered to see a school therapist, and it’s designed to be short term (which is good since I’ll be leaving in a few months). I’m still trying to find my footing in life and develop an identity of my own, separate from my parents. My teen years were basically robbed from me and were filled with anxiety, depression, and other mental issues, but hopefully I can start a new life and forge a new beginning once I leave. My family is also very Christian and I somewhat conaider myself as one too, but I focus more on the relationship aspect with God rather than organized religion. I have big plans for myself in life; I want to travel, start a family, pick up hobbies, etc. I know it will take a lot of time and effort but I’m willing to sacrifice the short term gratification in order to build towards a better future. It’s all about the mindset. Nothing but positive vibes over here. God bless you Cam and I sincerely hope you’re doing better. 😊
