Uhm, 🤔 Do you want Momma B to make you boys some plant scented candles and melts? You may be shocked at the scents I can create. I've been doing it since before you 2 were born. You can pretend you made them, and put them in your store. If I make them, they will be high quality. I can leave to tops a little rough, you can hit them for a couple seconds with a heat gun, or blow dryer, to smooth the tops, then, put your own label on them, so you "participate" in making them, and can say you made them, without telling a lie. 😁😂🤣

I actually LOVE the smell of fresh cut grass, but I avoid it since I'm allergic, so that would be a pretty cool idea for a "garden" candle! 😄 You don't have to give me credit.. just send me free ones! 🤣

Soy or beeswax candles (easier on the asthma/allergies) a 3-pk of straw, rice, and oat scents. The smell of rice lotion and oat lotion is such a happy smell, I imagine a candle would be great too.

Yuzu isn't really juicy in general, and not heavily harvested for it due to the seeds. It's usually harvested when green/slightly yellow for the fragrant rind. If you're looking for the fragrant juice, go for the Sudachi fruit instead. Also, I'm a soapmaker, and the three most common 'garden' fragrances that get requested or made are: dirt, tomato leaf, and clover ^_^

This is exactly what I was going to mention! It's something like only 15% of the fruit is juice. The best way to tell when they're ready is when the fruit smells extra fragrant, golden yellow with maybe hints of green. Candied yuzu peels are AMAZING. Very popular treat in Japan. I'm obsessed. They're hard to find so boom, grow your own yuzu happened. 🤣

Hermit hats and possibly candles?! Just take my money already! Genovese Basil would be an epic scent for a candle. Or maybe even a Dirty Hippie line, like a mish-mash of garden soil, Birkenstock leather, sour d terps, and thyme. Not gonna lie, I’d buy it.

Just a tip, tobacco is a summer crop and they love hot weather and full sun, so you can always try again next spring and summer I also noticed that the seeds will sprout at random if left in the soil, I’ve reused soil from supposed seed sowing fails for other plants and I still get random tobacco seedlings popping up in my house plants and garden so don’t give up in those seeds yet

Momma B is jealous of your poms. Cant grow them up here. 😣 But.. Im so excited to watch your fall garden progress. I didnt realize you plant it so late in the year. Love you boys. 👍❤ Momma B is up here, where we have to plant fall seeds, by the second week of August, or put plants in the ground by the second week of September. We had 4 nights of freezes, last week. 26° to 28°, and my plants are still here. Covered them with plastic, and lit dollar store Tikki torches, all around the garden. It worked. 😁 We do that for fruit trees, in early spring too. (No plastic, just the tikki torches. Keeps the frosts off the trees) Headlines should read: "Dollar Store Tikki Torches Save Organic Foods". Yay!! 🎉🎊🎉🎊

Zone 9b in Florida and my three year old papaya is massive. It's trunk is twenty six inches, it's taller than my house and it has produced fruit all summer and it's loaded with flowers. Second tree is starting to take off now and should flower soon. I have never seen one this size! Grown from the seed of a store bought fruit. It is on the south side of my house and the main trunk fell last year so now it has multiple branches. Food and water makes mighty papaya!

Papaya should be planted 10 ft apart. There are two growing together. Depending on the papaya the ratio is either 3:1 or 5:1. Sometimes people will plant up to three plants close together, but you have to cull to 1 plant. It is very thin because of competition. It also is a heavy feeder of potassium and potash. First flowers at about 5 months, and that is when you can find out the sex of the tree. First fruit is usually ready 9-10 months from seed germination. In frost free climates a papaya can live about 8 years. It is not a tree. The core is hollow. It is a giant herb.
