I know it is but I'm just tired of struggling with this project, and as dumb as this may sound these guys are harder than panther chameleon babies to me! Appreciate the condolences Gio, keep up the great work!

Sorry for your loss, dude. I felt the same way when I lost a few chelonians, and they were adults. Now, I'm looking to breed my own electric blues, and I wanna make sure that I do things right enough to where my babies survive long enough into adulthood. We just need to keep moving forward and with our heads held high even in the face of failure. We got this, bro!

It's not sad. Now, you're better equipped to deal with raising these geckos and give extremely helpful tips for beginners. I am beginning with Phelsuma and want to get into blues and didn't even think about getting a fully transparent encolsure, but this seems key to montoring the growth and health of the geckos and cage.

Basic setup with paper towel and plastic plant more suitable than fully bioactive one. They're super delicate even small cricket bite can kill them. Sorry to hear that it's inevitable as part of reptile breeder.

Aww sweets, I'm so sorry but you can't give up. It's to beautiful of an animal. I wouldn't consider it a failure. That was nature. Failure is when you give up and stop trying. When something didn't work out for me my Uncle use to tell me if I wasn't willing to fail than I wasn't ready to succeed. 💋

It happens man, I work with Parsons chameleons and oustalets..... it's tough. Obviously it wasn't your fault, all you can do is just try again and brush it off

I have been keeping reptiles since the 80s, started out with iguanas. Since then I have lost some super rad reps to things outside of my control. For instance I lost my first Beardie to a cat attack, my house gecko Leonard got got by crickets (I had no clue crickets could eat reptiles if left uneaten) and my two favorite snakes got lost due to my three year old opening their bins to play with them. It sucks super bad getting set back but you got this !!! Don't ever give up on those geckos !

That sucks but accept that it happened and grow and learn and look at the beautiful collard lizards and the hognose baby and know you are great a few dead baby’s are sad but they don’t define you

It'd hard not to though. Like I know I've had countless success but I just hate being on a losing streak especially when this time it was not my fault. But got to take extra precautions now with these ant sized like reptiles.
