The twins properly reuniting one day is one major plot point of Genshin that many of us are looking forward to, so it's no wonder that scene got u. I'd be lying if I say I didn't at least tear up. That scene also made me miss my sibling, haven't seen them in 3 months.

We got to see cloud retainer in a “chill” setting and see her “daughters” (she basically adopted them) Ganyu and Shenhe in beautiful new dresses she specifically got tailored for them!! So sweet!! LOL btw, Gaming's story literally is a classic Chinese family concern that parents always worry about their children's lives and tend to persuade their children to live their lives in a better way they thought, which often bring conflicts to family relationship, however, the thing is when children grow up and realize how cruel the world is, they usually start to understand why their parents were so worring and many of them start to regret on not listening to their parents' words, they will understand that their parents had experienced similar pains and troubles in their youth, and it's just that they didn't want their children to go through the same thing again. That's usually where they come to reconcile with their parents.

I haven't done Xianyun's character quest but my god that ending got me 😭 I definitely need to go do the whole thing now. Tbh I don't really play Genshin as much as I used to but I wasn't missing Lantern Rite either. I see you also got Ganyu's outfit 😍 I got her's and Shenhe's because they're just so gorgeous

This Lantern Rite was the most I ever cried from Genshin and it was somehow happy and sad crying at the same time. And I think Gaming's line "I never thought I'd live to hear you say that" says it all. To feel hopeless that your parents will ever change, that they will ever accept you, and then to be proven wrong - that actually your parents can change for the better, and that they can do it for your sake. Few things are more moving than to find hope again like Gaming did here.

Anyways still so warm to watch these ❤

33:55 in several of Neuvillette profile lines he state he wants to “judge” the “usurpers” (aka the archons) with the notable exceptions of Nahida and Furina (the former he he thinks is very kind and the latter he he very fond of). So it’s possible this quest indicates that Zhongli (being morax) is not in any real hurry to talk to Neuvillette due to not wanting to a confrontation.

Having started playing Genshin late last year, hearing all the great things about Lanturn Rite of years past... (Lil rant incoming, and I'm SO glad others had fun.) It was such a disappointment. And I DO NOT CARE about the rewards. I have the characters I want (Yan Fei and Nahida being new recruits) and heck, Xingxiao can look less lame now. Cool. But: The co op game was AWFUL The puzzle game was dull The "Obstacle course" game was fine but couldn't carry the gameplay half alone. And then the questline itself being SO focused on Gaming (who realistically goes nowhere from here apart from "showing up," to which I cite Noelle never getting to be a knight.) left it so barren of interesting character interactions. Also, while I do like Gaming, with it being temporary, much like Cheveruse, or Fischl, anyone who starts playing later will miss out on a bunch of what his personal deal is. If I had been playing for longer, I'm sure all the human - form adeptus would have meant more, and I am always down for more doting Cloud Retainer but idk, excluding Gaming only the people you would expect to interact with CR did so. In a game with such spectacular personalities the best part (IMO) is when you take two of them from completely different walks of life and just let them interact. Klee meeting her "big sis" Yoymiya is precious. Amber Eula and Collei in general. Any time Kaeya puts someone on blast. It's great. Like the fact that Kuki and Itto were in the country RIGHT BEFORE for the Beetle tournament and RIGHT AFTER for the restaurant event is so irritating. Imagine Itto meeting Cloud Retainer, that would be hilarious. Possibly worst of all was the blatant commercial for the pay to aquire black dresses, while the free costume makes NO appearance. That was shameless and it stained the Cloud retainer half for me. I like CR and her daughters. The doting is cute, but the sheer "come buy our new thing" energy was icky. Day 4 was good despite so cleary being "this whole other thing over here." But Navia screaming from the mountain tops is chef's kiss. IMO, the three best parts of Lanturn Rite were the "buy in bulk" tea running joke, learning Yao Yao and Qiqi are best friends, and the funeral parlor team meeting the Fontaine cast. Oh and WOO Neuvi gave us a spoon. Whatever, like a week later the restaurant event has been serving as a nice make up.
