opie has officially taken over the semi. He has gotten very comfortable in here and has truly left parts of him all over, his hair that is. We give opie a good brush and answer some viewers questions. Thank you for watching.

Just came across your channel. Nice to meet you and Opie! Opie is gorgeous!! Love your Kenworth. My dad drove a kw for many years. He retired from truck driving after 47 years. I miss road trips with him. My hubby and I both come from a line of family truck drivers.

I have a soft spot in my heart for GSD. Good looking dog you have there. Me and the wife have a GSD and have a running joke that we could build another dog with the hair it sheds every day. When God made GSD's he made them special. Loyal does not even begin to describe them. Stay safe.

Birds will be happy about finding that Opie hair...excellent for nest building. Several times I have considered sharing info about a product I thought might be helpful with your desire to keep 1st Class looking spiffy. Its like a ceramic coating that ya can self apply after washing that repels dirt and water. I watch an exotic car channel who lauds having their expensive cars ceramic coated. Just lately I saw an advert about a common car care products company who now offers a solution that offers similar protection without the high dollar cost. Anyway...just sharing. Didnt state any product names because of the copyright issue concerns you mentioned.

There is a deshedding comb for pets called a FURminator. There are different models. I got one for my dad's chihuahua. After seeing it my sister in law tried it on her cats and bought one. They come in several styles and sizes and work great on dogs including German Shepards. The pile of loose fur you can remove is unbelievable. There are KZfaq videos showing them being used.

So does the truck leak in rain too. It looks like quite a bit of water could potentially come in. There's got to be a way to seal that. I drove Kenworth for a few years but I'm a Peterbuilt man myself. Use to go by "Nervous Wreck" back in the day.

Besides being old, I drive like that old person. Why? Got tired of paying for broke parts coming off and new parts going back on. They just keep adding more stuff and the stuff ain't gettin cheaper. So the best thing to do is make the old rides last. Funny thing is a new Pete rides like a Cadillac. The new Cadillacs rides like an 1955 Pete.

@truckingwithschmidt71203 жыл бұрын
The trailer is thiers. Of course I have to carry enough cargo ins and ins to cover what I pull. The tires or refer fuel comes out of thier pocket. Pay wise I get a settlement every week on the loads. Thier factoring is part of the % i give them to use thier trailers.

I want to share a story about a german shepard my dad had when i was about little bud's age. I lived in a big house at the time and dad's dog , I won't say the dog's name, not really youtube friendly. but my dad was the only person that dog liked. he had a pen outside with a good size dog house.. any way. the house had many people in it and no one would let me rest anywhere i went. Cousin lived with us and loved to pick on me to the point of abuse at times.. Now I have always been in a wheelchair but I can crawl pretty good and one day I had enough being picked on so I crawled into the dog's pen, stared him down and crawled into his dog house and the dog just looked at me as if to say.. really? could someone get this kid out of my house so I don't have to eat him? lol After a few minutes he came in and circled around me and layed down behind me so I layed my head on his back and I slept there until way later at night when my dad found me. The dog protected me the whole time. Sorry so long. had to share that.

Hello again Speedy... I read the whole reply and wanted to say I liked the story so went to see who the reply came from. Made my day (night actually as its 11:45 pm) to see it was you. Anyway...there is just something about this channel and our host (as non-sociable as he claims to be) that somehow draws me into feeling comfortable to share stuff that even my neighbors have no clue about. So don't apologize. He has created more than merely just another KZfaq channel...this is becoming a community.

How ya doing, i see you have a german co driver, does he mind that your truck is CAT powered, olay i'm through with the bad jokes. Mr. Schmidt i was wondering in your driving adventures if you have come across protesters blocking the streets or highways yet and about the pb&j sandwiches, golden rule if it's not dripping on your shirt and belly, then you don't have the right kind of jelly. Stay safe and stay loaded, god bless.

Quinc g look onto German shepherds rescues there are a lot of gs that need a job loving home and usually when you rescue a dog they somehow know that you are there saving them from the caged life and 99% of them turn out to be the most loving loyal great protectors and best friend you will ever have.
