The Dukes Of Derbyshire mate it’s personal preference but I really enjoy your channel most out of all of them and I follow about 40 channels.... it’s because you know your coins but still have a laugh about food and three P coins the bane of detecting... not many people have chatted privately with me mate and it’s things like that that will get you to 10k subs ...it was got to see Sarah enjoying Her day out and chatting on the video you two work well together 👍

Seemed like a pleasant day! Lunch was a bit more substantial than last time, quiche looked tasty 😋 Love those Florins, one of my favourite coins they are. The cap badge is from the Auxiliary Territorial Service, they were the women army volunteers up until 1949, I’m sure you know that by now though. Enjoyed that one mate, thanks for sharing, take care you two 😊👍

Great vid as usual buddy. While Sarah hoovers up the silvers, you hoover up the cake....a fair assessment of a beautiful day out in the woods I think...lol The wee lizard brooch is cool, as is the cap badge....personally, I love digging old military items like that. Not sure I like the sharp, scratchy tones of the Simplex.....your ORX sounds heaps better and much more mellow-toned on camera.....just an observation.

Cheers buddy. I think the Simplex inteferes with the ORX and the pinpointer which is why it always sounds so bad. It will be a decent machine when theres nobody else nearby. I will certainly be keeping it and it is capable. Its pouring with rain today n im at work, perfect

@@philipvaughan1027 I'm not a massive fan of the Simplex, for the money though its great. It seems to intefere with anythin n everythin (especially my Mi6 pinpointer) so not ideal. But it picks up the signals

Thanks for the Lemon Juice/Earbud tip - did it today on my first silver (1951 Australian George VI 3 Pence) - originally I thought it was a modern half penny but cleaned up beautiful

Sarah battered me 😂 Yeah they almost always clean up nice, some say dont clean them but I always clean the milled silvers post 1921. Thanks for ya comments

@@NathanielOutdoorAdventures it always starts off slow mate but if you keep at it it will soon grow. It tooke me 1 year to get to 1000 subscribers, its a hard sector to get into as there are sooooo many channels. I've got my foot in the door now and I know my channel has grown in quality 😁

Yeah its ideal in there in the hot weather, the ground is full of roots and a bit more moisture, don't have to be as neat either, nature soon sorts that out in the enchanted woodland 😁

Nice video and interesting finds. Do I need a permit to search in the UK? In Germany unfortunately yes😡 The laws here are very tough, that's a shame. Greetings from Germany and happy hunting 😉

Hi Jason, here in England we only need the consent of the land owner which in Derbyshire seems very easy. In other counties it can be difficult to get any permissions. That sucks bet theres some incredible history to he found under the German soil

Great hunt! I really enjoyed the video! That area looks beautiful. What a pleasure it would be to hunt there. I am totally clueless when it comes to European coins are those silvers rare ones? What percentage of silver content in them? Most US coins where 90% silver. Was that a public wooded area or a private property permission? I need to watch more of your videos so I can expand my detecting knowledge outside of the US lol. Happy hunting!!

Hey buddy I love that pittle woodland, its next to a popular Victorian tourist attraction and also a bunch of lead mines. The woodland was not there 100 years ago and people would of sat there. The silver content on those coins is only 50% but they look fantastic after a little clean, they aren't rare either. No worries, I think your doing an Excellent job with this channel and you are one of my favorites on KZfaq! It's the little things, when you start your videos, "mornin" and you show the area and talk about how cold it is lol,and sometimes you go in the store to get a snack and show what your having for lunch, I love all that...and of course your AMAZING finds. 😁👍❤

I worry about showing too much scenery as we both know theres going to be people who know where these locations are and help them selves
