In 2008, I participated in the 145th reenactment of the battle of Gettysburg and I quickly learned that Pennsylvania can be just as hot and humid as North Carolina. I love the drone footage of your crops Logan. They really look beautiful!

Sure enjoyed that fantastic drone footage today of your farm plantings Logan. That field you laid the plastic in for the new strawberries looks fantastic! Handy piece of equipment that lays the plastic too. Darn those deer LOL 😈

Beautiful farm. Deer damage has been less for me so far this year vs. last year. I'm in Pike county Pa. Lost all my pumpkins plants due to deer pressure last year. I do have them fenced this year though (solar electric).

Hi Logan, I'm about 15 miles North of Scranton. A local small farm stand is selling sweet corn for $10.00 and of course it's not local yet. When I was a kid, many years ago, I worked for a local farmer and if I remember correctly, a dozen ears were $1.25. Yep, I'm really old. Your farm is amazing. Love watching you all GROW!!!!!

if she hates that job YOU should have a treat for her each time you see her when you turn around at the end of a row. Flowers, candy, fan bottle, anything she loves. Maybe a promise ring or an engagement ring. I hope you realize you are a lucky man and she is the most important part of your day. Trust me.

You say the strawberry rows will be 1,400 feet long. Can you actually feed a 1,400 foot drip tape from one end? I seem to remember that the maximum recommended length for standard (0.5 gpm) vegetable drip line was 500-700 feet, depending if running up-hill, down-hiil, or level. You might want to consider feeding it from the middle of the rows, if possible, unless you are using special low-flow tape which can be more prone to clogging.

Awesome what you do, but what do you about bug presser? I like to have just a small crop of cabbage and its dang hard to keep the moths off, so they don't lay eggs, and then have cabbage worms eating all your cabbage? This year I got smart and put mesh over them. Like I said how do you deal with things like that?

Hey, I need some advice. My Zinnia’s are been eaten by Japanese beetles. What should I spray on them? Also, what do you spray on cabbage, cucumbers and zucchini?
@BroyansFarm
@BroyansFarm Жыл бұрын
If you go to your local agway and get something that helps remove/prevent insects they should be able to help you. The spray we use is more commercial and sold in bigger more expensive jugs. To get something for your garden, I would definitely check out your local agway. This will help take care of them. I would try to do it before the rain so it works better since the rain helps activate the spray. Hope this helps thanks for watching 😃
