The “big Jack” is used inside of machines to help clean the burs and lumps off of different metal, usually cast iron. These were used at the plant my husband was a supervisor at here in Alabama!!!

I think that solid cylindrical piece of iron is an old window weight that used to be longer. It helped to raise and lower large wooden sash windows.

That shovel looks like it came off old train where coal car was right behind engine to keep it running. Great find. Loved all the caltrops. This area has to be from civil war era. Great finds for all 3 of you. Loved the old chalk line holder. Stay safe

I sure hope Tyler‘s garage has a lock on it. He’s telling everybody how many Cal drops he’s gotten it big boo-boo don’t let anybody know where you live I wouldn’t. I just have to mention that. How old should I tell ya.. and it sure looks like you’re all having a pretty good time there… especially when she found a Shorty I could not stop laughing. That was so funny.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The shovel was used for coal, possibly in a train engine which would explain the shortness of the handle. I actually used one before to stoke a coal furnace in one of the homes I used to live in.

Horse shoe with the nails still in it. Some farriers file off the ends they bend to hold the shoe on before they pull it off. If a horse steps on its own shoe, sometimes the nails just rip out. Don't give up on finding one of those cow trops. Surely there are many more to be found. Beautiful day you all got to enjoy. 😊

Bailey I don’t know if anybody has told you but the top you’re wearing is absolutely gorgeous. If it’s done via hand it must’ve taken a month or two for two people to make it. That is absolutely gorgeous crochet. Wow don’t get it ripped the bed we didn’t live a little closer. If you did with it, I’d be the one fixing it, anyways it’s gorgeous on you. I thought your top was I just so perfect on you. Nobody else can wear it. It’s your size it’s it’s it’s incredible again. I have to tell you again by . had to tell ya … good luck, girl☘️🍀🌿🌲🌳☘️🍀🌴💐 here’s lots and lots of green. Yes your little nail sticking out of the Horseshoe or what hold the shoe to the horse's hoof nail them in through the horse's hoof and then cut them off with the top

Two questions: do you sell any of your finds? And if so, where do you sell them? So many people talk about wanting to buy finds it strikes me as a next step in your new career
