After watching many videos on the 750 decided to buy one. I was looking at a used Tuono but really wanted to experience a true sport bike since my previous bikes were naked Triumphs. I picked it up last week and it is a beautiful bike. Still have to get used to the ergonomics and gearing but the seat height does make it a pleasure to ride since I'm just over 5'4". It is a little tougher doing slow speed drills because of the hand position but I'll get better with more practice. Thanks for sharing your experience with the bike.
@adobomoto6 ай бұрын
You’re welcome. I suggest buying some adjustable clip ons and raising them a bit. Also, slow speed drills require a lot more counter balance rather than counter steer. I know it’s hard to keep in mind, but try to remember that simple technique!

Glad the front end is sorted now. Owner of a Kawasaki Z 750 myself, I love the versatility of this naked bike with the power and rideability it gives. Suspension is sporty but not like harsh, good ergo's and the bigger inline 4 with a bit higher torque from mid to high compared to 600-650's makes it a great ride for commuting or spirited riding. I do think and agree that 750's are a class on it's own.

@@adobomoto Agreed .. I ride a 2016 red GSX1250FA and, although a fantastic and durable bike, the paint is so fragile and prone to scratches and chipping, just my riding gear was enough to dull the paint on the sides of the fuel tank, and I have to be extra careful while unmounting the fairings not to cause more scratches. Maybe I should have invested in a ceramic coat while it was still new .. too late now.

Hey, the line next to the C46 code is at the upper part of the text which means your TPS is unbalanced. It's an easy fix you just pullup the code again and adjust the Throttle Position Sensor under the gas tank until the line moves into the middle. Should look like " --C46 "

Tried to look through comments to not be repeating anyone but please keep your tire pressure at what the manual says and for most 600-750s that is 36-38 psi front and 38-40 rear. But check your swing arm my 06 CBR 1000 said 38psi front and 42 psi rear. So please check and make sure your setting them right. Keeps tires longer and in better shape. It's also the reason it doesn't feel flickable, the tire shape is too squishy.

It mostly comes down to how well the bike is maintained, just as it is for any bike. These bikes are very reliable, when well maintained. Cheap out and buy a clapped out bike and you’ll have clapped out bike problems. Spend a little more and buy a well maintained bike and you won’t. Ends up saving you money and hassle in the long run. Also remember clapped out bikes and fixing their problems make for a better videos than well maintained bikes with no issues.

Had a K6 600 for about three years. Bought brand new. NEVER had a single issue. Had a professional shop do the standard maintenance (no Mickey mouse stuff.) I really would love a GSXR but HATE that front end! Also don't like they still don't have a fuel gauge. I would LOVE either a 600 or 750 but again Suzuki needs to step up their game. Honestly, I wouldn't care if they didn't update their engines as long as they fix those 2 things
@knievel87274 ай бұрын
The lack of fuel gauge is not a problem. Just reset trip meter when you fill up to have an idea where your at. The low fuel light starts blinking when you have about a gallon left and stays on when your getting really low. You can also look at the reserve trip meter which resets when the low fuel light comes on to see how far you gone since the light came on.

Just recently installed new damper and it made it so much more noticeable. Apreciate any help.

Steering head bearings. You can get away with tightening them for a bit. I have the exact same bike & I bought it used as a project bike. First thing I did was change the steering head bearing. Don't replace it with OEM Suzuki bearing, replace it with an All-Ballz Racing steering head bearing. I don't know why manufacturers still use the awful design that will fail. Does it really save that much during manufacturing? The All Ballz is a superior design as a bearing & race. If you ever have to replace them.. Suspend the bike by inserting a metal rod behind the radiater through the fairings and use an elevated pair of jackstands. You can rent a bearing removal tool from Autozone. Change that gearing up to a 16T front sprocket & like, a 44t rear. Don't quote me on the gearing part. I haven't gotten that far yet. My motor is in pieces & the frame, swingarm & fairings are hanging on the wall
