Seven of the nine sisters agree to sit down with Iyanla, but sadly, one of the sisters, Melonda, has a stroke before she even has a chance to speak with Iyanla. Clearly, the clock is ticking and Iyanla's work is cut out for her as she tries to help these women uncover and confront what is weighing them down, mentally and physically. @@fel6533 I’m a Christian and as such, I know I ain’t perfect. I also know God will judge me based on how I treat others. I am not God, I am God’s child. Therefore, all I need to do is love others; judgement is His not mine. A lot of these people judging will say they don’t agree with same gender love yada yada yada but, they be out there sleeping FORNICATING withthe opposite gender ). If one is a sin, so is the other. Only God can determine who will enter the gates and even then, NO ONE who enters will be “free of sin”. If “sin” precludes you from going to Heaven NOBODY would be eligible to be there. Let’s keep things 100.

We don’t. That being said, we don’t want to hear about it either. I don’t want to hear about my heterosexual friends either! It just gets old, the constantly hearing about how “they” get off. It’s like they have abandoned their personalities, and hobbies and things that make them unique..for a sexual title.

That isn’t what she is saying what’s she saying is if someone wanted to give their life to Christ one day or wanted to talk to someone about why she felt the way she felt and they were surrounded by people with the attitude that June had towards her…that person may change their mind just because of how they were treated and made to feel. That’s the truth. You kno how many adults in my generation don’t go to church because of how the people in the church make them feel about their sin or bad decisions they made? Even if they learned from their mistakes and are doing well in life those same people sometimes treat them the exact same way they did when they made those decisions…it’s sad

Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church. (1 Corinthians 14:34-35, NIV)
