My GPT robot discusses his cooling fan and optimal CPU temperature

Күн бұрынFloyd’s cooling fan was making too much noise and coming through on the audio recording so we had to add a DIP switch to toggle it on and off. Ideally we could have him monitor his own CPU temp and control the fan programmatically.

You should give it a temperature sensor so it can self regulate when it gets hot, and not have to ask, great work either way

For sure! The board actually does have a temp sensor built in and I'm sure it can be accessed through Python. Normally the little cooling fan runs all the time, but I added a DIP switch just so it can be turned off when we're trying to shoot a video. But it would be more way more awesome if I could just say, "Floyd, turn off your cooling fan!" Thanks.. you gave me a good idea....

LOL the mouse is the coolest thing EVER, it's from Steampunk Renovation on Etsy.
