I’ve never ever, ever been into the G-Shock thing - I just discarded them all as toy watches or just too big and too loud watches for somebody who was in real trouble with self-esteem.
Then I’ve found this - my new Casio G-Shock reference number DW5610SU-8, that I bought this during my last trip to Tokyo.

I love G-shock. My first watch was casio, bought by my dad during my primary school. Served me up until I was 17years old with no fuss. Apparently my good friend loves it so much and I gave her as a farewell gift. Currently using Swiss watch but still have G-shock for working outdoor especially at yard. Looking fwd to buy 5610 to replace 5600 as a gift for my husband and casio for my daughter. Informative content and nice vid. 👍👍👍

Finally after a few yrs of seeing mountains of reviews this one just sent me to the Hudson’s Bay website here in Canada 🇨🇦 to grab one of these bad boys for a 100 bucks. The square 5610 looks like the perfect digital beater. Thanks for the video bro ! To think of all the cake I’ve spent on watches and I am really looking forward to my -1st digital square.

I always in to automatic watches, not the luxury/expensive kind though, mostly Seiko. Never cross in my mind to wear a digital watch. until this model came out. I bought it for $49 and it become my daily driver since then. I add a bullbar and change the strap to zulu. I love it. But...until today, this is my only g-shock or digital watch I have 😆.

I love the green!!! BUT i was just about to buy the dw5600bb cuz it was cheaper i saw that they had the gray one on sale but not the green :(. But still this one is super cool too and its a lot better than the dw5600bb

okay you just made me to buy one. :-D I was originally looking for an automatic diver's watch, but this piece just stole my heart. fortunately the price nowadays sticks around 85EUR.

I really love G Shock watches, but I never really found this particular model to be very interesting. However, I agree with you on this one. As soon as I viewed it, I knew it was a step up from the classic. I just ordered one to add to my collection. The colors just work really well together and make this watch look great.

Un classico indistruttibile. Ho lo stesso modello, ma non con display a contrasto (ref. 5600E). Penso sia perfetto per chi non vuole avere un G-Shock vistoso o ingombrante (o per chi ha il polso piccolo). Great video!

Storie di Orologeria Meccanica avevo lo stesso modello, bello, ma pur non essendo “grosso” gli ho sempre preferito il Casio F-91W come beater. Però indubbiamente ha il suo fascino.

People continuously say you can't wear these at formal settings. Yet, I have been in many board meetings and have seen many g shocks under a suit cuff. To each their own I guess.

Well I'm collecting only g-shocks for example. I feel like many watch can't do what a g-shock can. Especially when you consider the price. They're just amazing timepieces.

My grandpa just bought this same exact g shock watch yesterday. I kind off like it but was not really the one or type of g-shock I wanted. Should I get it returned or keep it? What other one would you recommend under $100 Us dollars?

Pressing and holding the top right button adds an icon to the screen. I haven't figured out what it does though. Any idea?

Questo modello è molto bello, anche perché rimane con proporzioni e dimensioni ottime al polso. Purtroppo tanti g-shock sono giganti e dall'aspetto plasticoso

Finalmente però iniziano anche a prendere dentro anche appassionati di altri orologi e se continuano così chi ritroviamo a spendere 100€ al mese 😅
