My theory/fanfic at this point is that Emily and sir pentious would team up to find out how he was redeemed while side stepping around sera and keeping her as in the dark as much as possible due to their mistrust of her. Also, i want pentious to meet molly (angel's sister) and have all the interactions of pentious talking about his friend angel and molly swearing that her brother Anthony would do that all the time! A big wish That i know won't happen because of the legal mountains which they would have to cleard is some helluva boss cameos.(hb Spoilers btw) Even if it was just a throwaway line about ozzie or bee hanging out with lucifer or blitzø in the background of the city. Maybe even an article about how prince stolas was hospitalised to line up each shows' timelines. It just would be cool, though I 100% understand why this won't happen.

I just wanna see adam's character to get further dived into. He's easily one of the most interesting characters in the series

I personally think and wish for this kind of plot for Sir Pentious: He isnt wanted in heaven. Everybody thinks he is a filthy demon who cheated his way up and who was involved in the killing of their Exorcist army and Adam. Becasue in the end nobody really knows how ascention really works so its easy for the antagonists to make up a story revolving around the murder of Adam by the hands of the sinners. So he is gonna have a BIG opposition. Sera and Lute will try and put him down cosntantly and he wont fit in at all. In the end he realises that heaven is actually NOT at all what he imagined it to be. Because all he really wanted was to have friends and fit in.

I do hope that we get to see a bit of Overlord work. Considering Rosie mentioned easy pickings with territories I wonder who has the most territory or who has the most people under them with stuff like that.

Idea: Angel gets redeemed but doesn't move on from drugs and smuggles them and uses them in Heaven. He will have a whole friendship arch with Sir Pentious. He will eventually gets caught and get in a battle in the middle of Heaven with maybe lute with all of heaven watching. He would become a fallen angel and would go back to the hotel and will go into a deep depression with another husk and angel arch. Sir Pentious on the other hand will stay in Heaven and make a bunch of doohickeys that improve Heaven that much more and will get his egg boiz back because of it.

Apparently there's a number of characters who got their character concepts introduced in the between years of the pilot & the show who were supposed to be future main characters and potential guests of the hotel; named Crymini, Baxter (who may or may not have had his arc given to Pentious), and Mimzy, which explains the joke with her introduction. But anyway, assuming at least 2 of them did still end up staying at the Hotel, alongside Cherri, that'd double the number of guests from last season to 4 or 5. I think that would be a good way to show the Hotel gaining momentum while still feeling to struggle and keep the main cast manageable. With the Vees, I honestly think you're underestimating them and how they can affect the Hotel crew. You're thinking it'd come down to a big fight between the 3 of them and the main cast; but the Vees main strength is their control over media, and that can be used quite effectively to interfere with the hotel while they amass power. Plus, like most ambitious schemer-types, all it takes is the right opportunity for their threat level to skyrocket; a deal with heavenly agents like Lute, Sera, or the elders for example. Regarding Adam; I think either way, he's not coming back in season 2. The return of Adam would be season 3 at the earliest. I also don't think he'll be any special exception; if he comes back, it'll be alongside the game-changing reveal that there's a way to come back from death by angelic steal. For example, since death by angelic steal is supposed to cause your essence to merge with hell & become those eyes you see on buildings and stuff; perhaps we could see a future villain with control over the essence of hell (such as the evil face from the episode 1 intro, who people are theorizing is named Roo) resurrect people who've become one with Hell as minions to oppose the main cast. I'm personally of two minds on what I want to happen with Emily. On the one hand, falling to Hell to spend more time with the main cast and meet the hotel crew sounds very fun and has lost of potential for a good character arc or two with her. Like, the jealous Vaggie idea sounds like a fun b-plot for an episode; one that could end with Vaggie & Emily bonding & becoming friends. On the other hand, it's be really neat if she tried to support the hotel openly from heaven, leading a pro-Redemption party of heavenborn & winners who want to see misguided loved one once more. Perhaps opening her own "branch" of the Hazbin Hotel to acclimate redeemed sinners to heaven, or letting Winners somehow help in the redemption process.

Definitely watch Helluva Boss if you wanna see the Deadly Sins, because Lust, Gluttony, and Greed all make an appearance. Also the overlord you forgot the name of is Velvette

my theory is that angelic weapons don't actually destroy a soul like they may think, What if instead the angelic weapons act as a way for those killed to get rejudged based on their actions, for example, since Pentious turned over a new leaf and became good, him dying and is "Rejudging" determined he could go to Heaven and so it did and those who weren't were reborn as people on earth with their memories and personalities wiped?
