@@vxdxsnow1450 I'm saying this as someone who used to be a die hard DF fanboy, even saw them multiple times in concert, and I still like them a lot too (just, over time the fanboyism has died down)...hard, HARD pass on their version of this song. They absolutely destroyed the emotional gravitas and made it into a lighthearted powermetal romp, really with a single choice: the double timing of it. I did try playing it at half speed and pitch shifting and whatnot not withstanding, it was actually really good..although I'd say Jonathan still hit it out of the park with his vocals compared to DF.

Not even kidding, I rewatched this at 0.75x speed just to appreciate the subtle expressions on your face…and to make the experience of your voice last longer. You can see genuine emotions ranging from fear, pain and heartbreak to almost a silent rage displayed on your face. MY GOD! How did you take an already pretty great song and do…THAT? I’m a grown man with tears in my eyes; reminiscing of a past filled with passion, ecstasy, heartbreak, and remorse. This isn’t just music or a song; it’s an embodiment and display of love and loss with music behind it. It’s beyond phenomenal. It is perfection. It’s an experience. You likely will never see this, but bravo, sir. And thank you for sharing with the world. May you never stop rockin’.

I dedicate this to my girlfriend who passed away 13 years ago in march of 2009... I miss you my love. And I miss you my momma, who I lost almost exactly 10 years later. Every night in my dreams I see you, I feel you That is how I know you go on Far across the distance And spaces between us You have come to show you go on Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on Once more, you open the door And you're here in my heart And my heart will go on and on Love can touch us one time And last for a lifetime And never let go 'til we're gone Love was when I loved you One true time I'd hold to In my life, we'll always go on Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on (why does the heart go on?) Once more, you open the door And you're here in my heart And my heart will go on and on You're here, there's nothing I fear And I know that my heart will go on We'll stay forever this way You are safe in my heart and My heart will go on and on

Epic voice, epic cover! You could slay Tina Turner's "What's love got to do with it"! I love it when these powerfully emotive songs are sung with frustration or anger. Sheds a whole new light on the tone and context.

The shear force of passion in this man’s voice while singing this song is so amazing. Celine sang it beautifully. And nothing will take that away from her. But my goodness this man sang it so beautifully as well. In between each chorus you can see the expressions on his face and you can see how it’s affecting him to sing this song.

Celine Dion is a very talented singer, but I felt nothing when I heard the song. Sure, it was nicely done, but it did not move me. Your cover touched my soul, it's absolutely beautiful! Emotionally, you took me to the same dark place I was a few years ago, when I was drunk almost daily, struggling with severe depression and even contemplating suicide. But there was also a lot of beauty, power and hope there in that moment... Like standing on the edge of a cliff, staring at the abyss below, smiling, not lunging into the blackness, turning around and walking away with that smile still on your face. Absolute masterpiece!

I love David Michael Frank's cover of this so I thought this would be similar but they are so different, David's is like a "pop goes metal" cover and this is like the warrior in Middle Earth at the end of many traumatic events throughout his journey accepting his past experiences and losses for what they are. Love both covers, rock on dude!
