Amazing guitars and all hand made...no CNC machines! Enjoy my private tour with Master Luthier, Pete Farmer.

After playing three Heritage guitars, I’m getting ready to buy my first Heritage Custom Core H-150 and really appreciate this very recent factory tour of Heritage that you’ve posted. I saw someone post on someone else’s channel that Heritage started using more CNC machines on their guitars after being sold to their current Singapore owners, Band Lab in 2016. But apparently that person’s post was dead wrong since they use the CNC’s primarily on the Harmony brand guitars based on your detailed video. Thanks so much for posting!

You are welcome! AND, you are correct , on the Harmony line they do. I can only say that I am in love with both my HERITAGE GUITARS that I purchased. The playability, feel, craftsmanship, and especially the tone is superior! Best of luck on finding your dream guitar.

You are totally they use the CNC on all their guitars now and discontinue the Kenny Burrell the golden eagle the Roy Clark the 550 the 525 the David Becker signature model the Kenny Burrell they only offer a stripped-down version of the 575, and the eagle classic and they use CNC operations on those. I don't know where you get your information I bought the second to the last 575 custom-made in 2017.. I ordered and had my guitar custom-made to my specs and worked with Randel wall and spent much time with him discussing these issues and purchase the guitar directly from the. You can do none of that now they are owned by the Chinese I don't know when this guy took his tour it says, and he is not telling her showing the truth

@@jamesrusch7531 So, I just spoke with the head luthier. He informed me that the only CNC being implemented is on "rough carving 150 bodies and necks" , so, I stand partially corrected. Thank you.

Mr you are absolutely wrong about everything I spent days there when I had my guitar built in part by Randal wall I can't help this autocorrect nonsense keeps changing my and I am 100% correct that they discontinued their entire line of archtops except for a stripped down and a stripped down and they are now being built on a factory with very little of the of the handwork they fired half of their employees in 2018, and they were bought by a Chinese billionaire in this Singapore company is owned by by by him and all Chinese owned businesses etc answer to the Chinese Communist party but I digress the guitars are more cheaply using cheaper materials in less hand work you could not get them to build any of the old class you know I'm tired of this autocorrect stuff p let's just put it this way you don't know shitt and go fuc yourself😂@Rovingdog628

Hi Bill, thank you for your kind words. I recently became an endorser of Heritage guitars… And Pete and I are new friends. I played at the Jimmy Wallace booth for the Dallas International Guitar Show for Heritage last year , and ended up buying two of them! They are a fantastic company and really care about what they're doing… The quality is amazing!

Hi Denny. Thanks for the response. Been watching your channel now and loving your stuff. Notice you have a sweet PRS and history with Paul. I’ve got a 1998 CE-22 and your tour with Heritage has me obsessing over the H-150 which I saw you own also. Both are works of art but do you have a favorite? Thanks!

@@flagace4889 I was doubting my answer when your reply posted. Its possible your 1976 Acoustic was made in Nashville (for a time Gibson produced guitars in both locations. Does your Gibson have a label glued inside of the body, if I remember correctly it should state the build location. Below is from Wikipedia; Between 1976 and 1984, production of Gibson guitars was shifted from Kalamazoo to Nashville, Tennessee. The Kalamazoo plant kept going for a few years as a custom-instrument shop, but was closed in 1984.
@flagace4889
@flagace4889 7 ай бұрын
Yes. There is a sticker inside saying it was made in Kalamazoo. I knew that. But my question was more about if the Heritage Plant is the same building where Gibson used to be. I guess there is only one Kalamazoo plant.
