I hate that the show didn't hammer home the point that he fought for 5 minutes without his quirk. That's what made that part epic in the manga

no they just changed it for no reason. like the post above me says he uses locations just fine, and Class 1-B had an entire play that ripped off Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter AND StarWars. Horikoshi has even done work for Star Wars and Marvel at Disnaey;s behest.

@@preranaroy3410 SPOILER WARNING (just to be safe lol). I'd recommend watching it cuz it would be so much more emotional. . . . . . . . So basically Sir Nighteye and Deku join the fight and Sir Nighteye ends up getting impaled real bad with Chisaki's quirk. This injury ends up being fatal, so people from the Nighteye agency plus All Might spend time with him during his last moments. Mirio got injured pretty badly, so the nurses try to hold him back from putting too much strain on his body, but he goes to visit Nighteye anyways (they're all being treated in the same hospital). The two talk and Nighteye uses his quirk one last time on Mirio and tells him that he will become a great hero. Then Nighteye tells either Mirio or everybody in the room (I can't remember lol) to keep smiling cuz without joy and happiness in the world there will be no "bright future". The episode is also title "Bright Future" btw

@@preranaroy3410 okay, since you asked for it: S4 SPOILERS sir nighteye is fatally injured fighting overhaul, who is then beat by Deku at 100% power with the help of Eri's quirk that rewinds his body evreytime he destroys it with 100% attacks. nighteye dies in the hospital with allmight, deku, and mirio by his side. right before he finally passes though, nighteye uses his quirk to read mirio's future. smiling, he says mirio will become a fine hero, and this is the only future that shouldnt be changed. he tells the 3 of them to keep smiling and laughing, bc a world without laughter has no bright future. the arc ends with his heartrate flatlining, all might deku and mirio crying, and the chapter title, "bright future".

The name of the episode where Nighteye dies is "Bright Future"

dannybob42 honestly I can see why the belief of needing a quirk to be a hero is a thing because if you look at Mirio vs Overhaul, if Mirio had his quirk he would have won, but without it he would have died eventually. In the end he would have been known as the quirkless guy who died showing society that you need a quirk to more or less survive and be an actual hero.

I get what you mean but what All Might said back then is still true. Mirio would die if Deku (a person with a quirk) don't go to save him. How a Quirkless person can defeat a Nomu, a Muscular, an All for One? That's not possible

@Tony Soprano Nah, it is obvious that Lemillion will be back with his power once Eri gains more control over her quirk. Probably as a savior at a critical moment, since he is just so powerful, he will be back once the villains are all more powerful. Otherwise that would be so easy for him, he is just invincible.

i remember when the chapter drop it was way before mirio appear in the anime. so people were getting very hype. anime only thought the guys was weird but we knew. oh yeah we knew.

His face next episode Spoiler below When the others find him he looks so exhausted, relieved, and distraught. That face really got to me. Someone who tried their hardest alone and held off the enemy for as long as they could.

@@DrexPlays Yeah you're right. I'd rather that Deku was the one that charged ahead and Mirio stayed behind to fight with Tamaki or something. Then after Deku realizes that Chisaki outmatches him (cuz lets be honest, in a one on one with Overhaul without the help of Eri, things don't look so good for Deku), Mirio phases through the wall and comes to save the day, even if he ends up losing his quirk anyway.

Dre Plays Well it wouldn’t have made sense otherwise. I mean, how would Deku even reach them before Lemillion? Plus, it makes for a really cool moment for both characters. We haven’t seen Deku at his best yet, so this was refreshing watching him go all out.

I interpreted her differently there. I figured that she meant maybe eri can reverse the effects of her own quirk, like how overhaul can make somebody explode then put them back together again

If Chisaki's plan on the distribution of the drugs has already been explained, I don't remember, then it's not super amazing, since the series already said it outloud. If it hasn't then it's cool, yeah.

i think she maybe meant that it was meant as a "counter" type of reversal, as in i think ranan meant a retaliation type of quirk. (btw i dont remember if those exist but retaliation type quirks would be a cool addition. quirks that activate based on actions done to a person vs what they do.

Arif Ahmed everyone forgot lemillion fights already after episode 13 thats what standout animation episode are for. Lemillion fight episode got jus average still animation which wont be remembered, ill bet that the normies will forget the fight when episode 13 turns up.

Honnestly this fight is for me much better than the one in episode 13 ... cause the fight in episode 13 literally only has animation for itself and that's it it's not really even a fight anyway it's a one shot ... this fight has so much more emotion

yeah, this episode wasn't the best when it comes to animation which is why people don't like it that much but from an emotional standpoint, this episode was top notch!

Tbh I can't say the fights are good from a choreography stand point the emotions in them are definitely always there.

One Punch Fish The Mirio fight had good choreography, it just wasn’t animated the way it deserved.

@@relic5752 Well yes and no. He only gets disoriented under certain circumstances with his power, especially now. Normally activating an area that deals with sight or sound (ears and eyes) is what you're referring to. If he goes under ground as well yes, he doesn't see or feel anything there and comes out of the ground awkwardly, but very much in his control. You can clearly see in this episode he controls his power near flawlessly. He controls his disorientation with his power, compared to say tickle training, which he would have literally 0 control on. So it helps explain that awkward as hell tickle machine and dealing with disorientation out of his control. Like I said you aren't wrong but I don't think that is what he is referring to with that line. Happy watching :)

Why don't they use guns more. It would be super effective on 90% of characters. Kirishima is literally the only bullet proof character in Class 1-A. We don't even know for sure if All Might can take a shot.

@@cameronjosephvideos5942 All Might with his quirk probably would've moved too fast for a bullet to hit (like at USJ). But the reason more characters don't use guns is likely due to the gun laws in place in Japan where the only characters you've seen have a gun have almost definitely gotten them illegally except for the police and Snipe who's equipment would be managed by the government. Iirc current laws in Japan are so stringent police officers who use guns even in training have to keep track of every bullet they use and there's an issue if even one is unaccounted for, not to mention it's almost impossible for a civilian to own a gun.

FeyPhantom to add on to this, most of the time even the police don't have access to real bullets. In vigilantes we see a lot of how they use a type of bullet that focuses more on subduing compared to actual bullets.

KingNixx really? I’m the opposite I think the Japanese voice actors did a better job for both lemillion and red riots moment. Dub voices just don’t give the same feels for me anymore, that being said the lemillion dub was better than expected, I hated red riots still though aha

The animation hasn't been particularly stellar at this point of the season, so they're used to it. I don't think it obviously paid off, they didn't react in that scene like they did when Deku showed up, which is a scene that paid of having after the credits by looking at their reaction. I personally didn't mind for the slideshow but I don't think it was well illustrated how long exactly he fought for, just that he fought for a bit longer. Reason why every comment ever in this episode mentions it.

@WillFanofMany Um, I'm a manga reader and thought that was they did was brilliant? Less is sometimes (or in anime's cases, almost always) better. If this was Naruto, they would put in entire filler episode with them making up the rest of the fight (and would probably threw in an entire filler season of flashback in between) and it would suck, this is way better.

I mean they do have a point some scenes are lackluster. Esepically considering this is the best part of the arc.

Well, that creative choice was for budget reasons, they threw all that money to the Chisaki vs Deku and the Endeavor fight at the end of the season. But they still manage to do something pretty great, considering that in the manga that part is just literally a sentence on a black panel, they nailed it.

Yeah, as a manga reader, I appreciated the fight. It's a difficult fight to portray because it was still a losing fight. If it had gone on, Mirio would've eventually been killed because of Chisaki targetting Eri. Animating Mirio getting beat up more and more over 5 minutes while protecting Eri would've been heroic at the beginning, but more and more painful as it went on. But when the episode first came out, I felt like my voice didn't count for much xD

Wolf the Legend i really enjoyed it the first time as well, but after taking a look at it, especially in this episode, there were a lot of still frames with those lines at the edge of the screen to make it look more impactful, but it was a lot like a powerpoint presentation of images, instead of actual fluid animation and moving parts

Eri is also a little girl, around 6 years old here. A lot of people seem to forget that, and ask "Why doesn't she do anything? She could stop Overhaul with her quirk." She doesn't do anything because she's a kid.
