Actually, its still mostly All Might, but he IS Taking cues from Erase Head, Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist, and well as the previous OFA users. He is basically trying to be 12 Heroes rolled up into 1!!!!! We'll keep seeing more on how this goes in coming episodes....

This is such a good episode! I love seeing how much Deku has grown. The English VA for Shindo is also the VA for Eren in AOT! Also those panels I sent Rana also show the parallel in the dialog for Deku, the “a huge villain is attacking”

The Mid-Gauntlet support items that Deku’s using are a new prototype of the Full Gauntlet that Melissa Shield gave to him in the first Two Heroes movie. All Might got the Mid Gauntlets from either Melissa or David. Remember, MHA movies are canon, folks! 😄

Just got done watching the AOT episode so seeing something not nearly as traumatizing is nice. Onto the analysis. There's a running gag that a lot of manga readers like to meme on Shindo. Reason being, in one of the popularity polls, he was just randomly in the top 10. So many characters who could've been there. Who actually are in the story a lot. Yet people voted for him. Memes aside, it's important to note that Deku is hoping to get through a lot of these fights uninjured in order to have energy to fight All For One. Shindo vibrating Muscular to the point that his muscle fibers came loose was very helpful because it allowed Deku to finish the fight quickly. While I still think he could've beat him without the vibrating help, I think it would've been a bit harder and he might've gotten hurt doing it. The phrase is, "Think smarter, not harder." Muscular was fighting harder but neglecting how much damage Shindo actually did. He threw tactics out the window in exchange for a good fight and paid the price. Don't underestimate the power of vibrations. In more ways than one.

Just for a point of reference, the other student hero's were 2nd years when we first saw them and now they are 3rd years and so now class 1-A is now 2-A. Imagine at the end of your first year of HS you end up in a hero vs villain war and at the start of of your 2nd year you are just roaming the streets fighting villains and trying to save hero society. These kids have been through a lot.

The whole sixth season of MHA was phenomenal. My only gripe is with a single moment in this episode, when the smokescreen-user is talking to Deku about thinking of quirks as tools. In the manga, there was a really amazing panel of all his quirks as literal tools (blackwhip as rope, float as a jetpack, smokescreen as a smoke bomb, etc) I just really wished they adapted that panel.
