Also, regarding Twice: They probably show it so much in order for us to not think that he survived. Perhaps also because a hero killing a villain is out of the norm and basically shouldn't happen (although it absolutely had to in this case, otherwise it would have been a death sentence for every single hero)

So since no one has said this yet, here is quick explanation of Shiggy's abilities. He has All for one and every quirk All for one had + Super regen + Decay + Bio engineered body. Afo quirks - Air shield - Air Blast - Strength enhancer times 3 - Kinetic booster times 4 - Radio wave - Search - Infrared - Rivet stab - Forceful quirk activation - Reflect - Scatter - Heavy payload And possibly much more unseen quirks.

This is the first time you feel actual dread since the overhaul episodes. But we're not even there yet...as Dani would say: "my my you got a big storm coming" 😁

for crust's death I think its actually BECAUSE he saved aizawa, he had to touch the nomu that was holding onto Aizawa and so the decay transferred to him. So freaking heartbreaking his sweet thumbs up and smile

It was much better seeing all this go down animated instead of when I read all of this week-to-week in the manga. The cliffhangers and chapter breaks were BRUTAL! (Not that the anime is going to be any more gentle, tho.) Gotta love the passive-aggressive way that Bakugo showed his concern by immediately following Deku when they all heard "One For All" name-checked over the intercom. He knew what was up right then. Looking forward to seeing you get to the rest of the season so I can relive the thrills and heartbreak! 😂😭❤

I get what Sams saying about how Twice's dead body is shown a lot for the kind of anime this is. But i think they did that because it is the result of a hero killing someone. I assume in this universe, heroes all go by og batman logic.

In addition to my previous recommendations (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Tower Of God, maybe God of High School) I want to leave another recommendation here, and it may be a controversial one: Tokyo Ghoul. There has been a lot of criticism for the series because the anime really fucked up adapting the story as it was written in the manga. Essentially, S1 is pretty in line with the manga, although a bit more shallow, S2 went a completely different route while looking to incorporate some events from the manga. S3 and S4 follow the manga more closely again. As you can imagine, due to S2, there are some consistency issues and it can be a bit confusing, a bit hard to follow. That said, I read the manga and watched the show, and I still REALLY enjoyed watching the show. The story doesn't compare to the manga of course, there's a huge difference in quality. But the show still is very enjoyable, and particularly S1 is a season I can only recommend. Visually it's extremely appealing, voice acting and music are amazing, the story is still pretty easy to follow. And just looking at what the show is I could just see you enjoy it A LOT. And half the fun is watching Gigguk's "Tokyo Ghoul in 5 Minutes" after you've seen the first 2 seasons. I also just found out that Sam has unfortunately already seen FMA:B, that's a shame. And so has Dani. You reckon Nicole, Parker and Morgan would be up for it?
