Mirio is the true meaning of being a hero. This episode brought tears to my eyes. This whole show is incredible. Can’t wait for you guys to finish the season!!

Mirio proved without a doubt that he’s a true hero.

Mirio fought overhaul for 15 minutes. He was powerless for 5 of them. He is a true hero

Overhaul: I win! You're quirkless! *gets punched* Mirio: I DIDN'T HEAR NO BELL.

Mirio was literally the perfect hero to take on Overhaul. His quirk makes him impervious to being disassembled, he’s stronger, and faster. The only reason Chisaki “beat” him, was because he targeted Eri.

You have now seen why Mirio is such a good boy, definitely a true hero.

It always gets me when people cheer seeing Deku bust through the wall, the same way they cheered when All Might would show up in previous arcs. My little guy's becoming the new symbol of peace.

Couple of things: 1. If you watch in the original Japanese with English subtitles, all the heroes say their special movies in English (and when they say Plus Ultra). When Lemillion says his special move in the hallway he says, "Phantom Menace" though for some reason it's translated as Phantom Threat. 2. Just and FYI Lemillion fougt Overhaul for a total of 15 minutes. 10 minutes with his quirk and for 5 minutes after he lost it. 3. Overhaul breaking out in hives is psychosomatic. Meaning there is nothing physically triggering the hives, but his own germophobia makes him feel he's risking infection at the slightest touch (hence why he where's a mask) and his body is reacting to what his mind believes. And he has a particular belief of quirks being a plague. And fears contamination from a touch by individuals with quirks. 4. Yaw not ready for the remainder of this season 😉.

Anthony's heart skipped some beats every time Overhaul raised his hand towards Mirio 😂😂 Great reaction!

The worst part is mirio thought it was a real gun. He was ready to die.

Man the feels ALL over again. I remember when this episode first premiered, my late brother and I were watching and eating popcorn, by the end my popcorn was basically soaked in my tears. Man the feels we’re REAL.

Every time Mirio screams "POWER" i get chills

The saying no to betrayal thing worked because shigaraki never told them to betray them he just said i trust you guys to make the right call

When asked about the betrayal they had known nothing about one, he only mention infiltrating them, (shigiraki)

This is really an epic moment for Lemillion. I also want to commend the both villain Nemoto and Overhaul in this battle. Nemoto did a smart move that we wanted to see in that moment, unfortunately the heroes always suffer greatly whenever the villain did a smart move. Overhaul also did surprise me here, not only that he have good reflexes, he also have good endurance to stay standing despite getting hit many times by Lemillion, for a delicate looking character that hates to be touched, that is really unexpected for me.

Overhaul is a guy who had no problem with Rappa who can hit insanely fast and he still couldn't deal with Lemillion. That's how good he is and he took on 4 people and they had to shoot at a child just to have a chance of beating him.

I would love to one day hear Stain's opinion on this even though it probably won't happen

Deku. His mom didnt support him in becoming a hero. He became timid. Then asked all might " can i still be a hero" Mirio. His dad supportef him since the beginning. Made mirio confident. Even after his quirk is lost. " Im still Lemillion".... Hes still a hero

in this episode you can really see toga is more focused and calm than we all thought at first. She has really calmed down a bit.

He may have lost his power but he still is lemillion

Interesting, I've never seen the dub of this episode. In the subbed version (& the manga) when Overhaul says "If I break her he'd be force to back off." he refers to Eri as "that thing" meaning he litterally dosen't even see her as a human being.

Yoooooo mirio without his quirk is still OP!!! All those years training make him a very capable fighter basically Batman now.

The fight was 15mins, Mirio was shot at the 10min mark. He was quirkless for a third of the battle against a guy who could kill him with a touch!

In the manga mirio's special move is called "phantom menace" as another reference to starwars i guess maybe they couldnt call it that here for copyright reasons?

If you pay attention in the last frame of the fight in this episode, it looks like Eri was pushed back based on the way the remains of the cape flow and her body motion plus Lemillion's stance of protecting her. He doesn't look like he was just too slow or misstepped..It looks like he stood in the way to keep it from getting to her.

Chisaki got bit in the a** because he asked the wrong question. He asked if shiggy said anything about betraying chisaki, not "do you plan on betraying me?". If he said the latter then it would quite possibly have gone differently

Been waiting for these next few episodes. Can't wait for the rest.

the last few episodes of the overhaul arc are some of the best in the series ep, 13 is going to blow your minds

Mirio is such an amazing character and this was proof of that. Even in the end he was confident and optimistic because he knows he did his best. He promised nothing bad would happen to Eri and he was willing to give up his quirk for her. He's such a good hero.

The choreography was so dope in this fight I love mirios quirk

Some people don't realize that Mirio was really exhausted, with out a quirk and still put up a great fight. He can't breathe while using his quirk and he was running through walls using permeation.

I really love how this show lets every character shine. It never makes the other characters sit around like chumps while the lead character does all the work. (To be clear, I'm not just talking about the one show you're all thinking of. There are many shows and movies, including live action, that do this at one point or another. Video games can be bad about this too.)

This guy dont need a quirk his power comes from his soul and that's why he is such a bad ass badass

I like how it's nighteye who gives us Chisaki Quirk and Not present mic. He is just not that kind of villain.

I know people have already said that Mirio fought overhaull for 15 minutes, but to add to that he also was still under the effects of the drunk quirk. I know it's mentioned in the episode too but who the hell remembers who Sakaki is? So maybe people didn't catch that.

I can't wait for the next two episodes for you. 13 is...just wait for it.

My theory for Chisaki's skin bumps, it it's his quirk actually destroying the tiny cells you leave behind, since he seems like a severe germaphobe.

Overhaul is a Germaphobe. He breaks out into hives if someone touches him.

Shiggy didn't give Twice and Toga orders to do anything, other than show up. You don't need to tell mad dogs to bite, you just have to let them out of their cage.

I kinda like how Mirio here is portrayed as kind of the antithesis of Deku and also harkens back to the beginning of the series. Deku was a loser because he had no quirk, but became a hero when he got one. Back then he asked All Might "Can I still become a hero, even without a quirk?". Mirio was born with a "bad" quirk that was hard to control and even harder to use properly, for most of his life he was a loser BECAUSE he had a quirk. He let Overhaul take Eri even though his quirk was probably the best counter to Overhaul. But when he lost his quirk was when he became a true hero. He proved both Deku and All Might right. You CAN become a hero, even without a quirk.

That was the start of the 3 part epic episodes!

Amazing how 1 episode changed this characters likeablity from 1 to 1 000 000

I've had enough time for the salt to reduce regarding how this was animated (because believe me, this moment should have been even bigger than it was), so instead I'll say that the after-credits is such an amazing endorsement of Deku as the new Symbol of Peace. It gives the same spine-chilling reassurance as All Might showing up to the fight at the USJ. I have yet to see a reactor not get absolutely hyped as soon as Deku breaks through the wall.

Something the anime doesn’t tell you is that mirio vs over haul took 15min so after he lost his quirk mirio fought for 10 min quirkiness

10:15 The brain can survive for 5-10 minutes with a chance of being resuscitated without permanent damage, So even if she got split in two, long as the brain is intact and he can put her back together and restart her heart... Yeah he probably could restore her from death.

First note, watch subbed, way better for bnha. But that being said I’ve watched dozens of reactions to this scene from various popular KZfaqr and this is by far the most genuine I’ve scene. The way both they eyes light up when he continues to fight, when he declares he’s still Lemillion... it’s how i was when i first saw it. Thank you for such an honest non pandering reaction, and your appreciation of an amazing character.

In the overwhelmingly disadvantageous situation in which he was outnumbered, 2 to 1..he fought approximately one third of the battle in a quirkless condition. No, not fought..but protected to the bitter end!" I wish they kept this part from the manga, shows even more strongly how much of a hero he is.

When they said No about betrayal because apparently no one verbally talks about betrayal. It's given that they betray them.

Shigaraki did not in fact tell them to betray Overhaul. He let them know that's what he wanted them to do, but he never actually said it.
