It focuses on bakugo because the upcoming episodes will be centered around the fight with shigaraki and bakugo and if you read the manga then you know what happens later on in the story

Tbf, this section of the manga is almost exclusively about him. If they adapt it how the manga is written, its basically just Bakugo, The Big 3, Best Jeanist and Edgeshot and Shigaraki
