Thanks for letting me 'in' into your condo unit tour. It's quite neat and just perfect for you (one person) but as you've said it's the noise that bothers you. As your place is located near the road, also hospitals around your building, there will be a lot of cars, ambulances and motorcycles passing. Well, you may use ear muffs, esp. when sleeping, though it would be uncomfortable. Another solution is for you to make your bedroom sound-proof but might be hard due to its layout unless it's enclosed as a room w/ a door. For now, you just need to get used to to the noise.

OMG! i really missed Korea so much 😢 i tried 4 airbnb accommodations during my 8Days-9Nights vacation in Seoul last 2018 - 2 nights in a guesthouse in Myeongdong (very homey feels with guests of diff races) - 2 nights in an apartment in Gangnam (feeling rich yayamanin gangnam style) 🤣 - 2 nights in a guesthouse in Itaewon (although natulog talaga ako sa sauna on the 1st night) - 3 nights in a studio in Hoehyeondong (just minutes walk to Namsan Tower) I intentionally planned to have different accommodations so that I can compare, at the same time have an idea of a Korean home...plus it's really cheap that way (airbnb hacks) 👌 All the houses/apartments were really nice and cozy 😍 Amazeballs 🤞🤞 your loft type studio is really nice compared to what i'm staying with here in Dubai 😂 i'll definitely go back to Korea now that i'm learning Hangul 😊🙏

Very nice layout, I want one for myself. This is even bigger than our Condo in QC! Good choice except for the noise, but you'll get used to it though. We had a condo in New Orleans really close to the streetcar route and in the corner of two major Roadways, just like what you have, we hear gunshots, ambulance sirens, trucks cars, streetcars like "The Street Car Named Desire" type of streetcar. The good thing is after a while you'll get used to it and you'll eventually learn to tune it out. You'd actually miss it if you moved to some other place. You're quite well organized. I wish I can be like that. My office is like a hurricane-devastated place, I know where everything is though.

You definitely have a talent for interior decorating. Such a nice, lovely and cozy unit. Too bad for the issue with the noise. I myself have moved from several different condos/houses, and it's really hard to find the perfect place. There's always a compromise somewhere.

This is one of the issues I encountered first time I moved out from my parents house. I did not thought about the noise. I only consider how the apartment look and how close it is from my work. there's few things that you will pick up when renting a house, you would know what you wanted and what you do not want the next time you will move. There are things that you think you don't need but ending up needing it either way. And that's how your adult life begins. Experiences. 😂

your house is so pretty😍 I wish Malaysia has this kind of house for a one person to rent. One thing I like about South Korea (and maybe other countries too) is that they have houses that is suitable for a one person or two person to rent and the condition of the house is good, clean, fully or partially furnished and has built-in storage. Meanwhile, in Malaysia, we have to share with other housemates or even roommates and mostly the condition of the furniture are bad already, but for the sake of cheap monthly fee. There might be a nice house or studio with good condition furniture but the monthly fee would be expensive.

yay, it was nice to see your apartment come to shape. i was wondering, how many appliances already came with the apartment? In my place here in Japan, it didn't come with any. So i had to buy my own stove, fridge, and washing machine (with out a dryer). It seems its common in Korea to especially have a washing machine already with the apartment. I am not sure just my observation from what i have seen from people who live in Korea. In Japan, occasionally the stove is already attached to the kitchen.

Noisy places...I understand... If you want very convenient transportation, the house will be very noisy. When I lived around Sadang station in Seoul, the place was very noisy. Now I live in Bucheon, this place is very quiet. I had searched for a year looking for quiet place around seoul, and I decided to lived in Yangpyeong(양평군) that place was too quiet and lonely. I recommend you to consider Bucheon city of your ground.

Hahah I'm glad I'm not the only one who cannot deal with the noise from the motorcycles/sports cars! I used to live near the river valley in my city (very beautiful view and very convenient location!) but I also had to move because I couldn't stand the motorcycles & sports cars. It felt like there was going to be an earthquake or something every time one of those would pass by, and they liked to go drag racing in the middle of the night too D:

Also for the noise, I think you could fix that if you add some cheap acoustic foams on windows or the walls. Its not always going to look good but I think you can pull an art attack on it, or just buy designed ones. It may even make your walls or windows look better 🙂

Hi Unnie! (a.k.a ate jessica) i would like to say that you should do handwash, because using washing machine can stretch your clothes, well using washing machine is kinda not you know a lot of work to do just to wash your clothes, but if you can do handwash, then i think you would try, us filipinos doesn't use really washing machine, because it can stretch clothings, but some of us use, it's more nice and you would have an enjoynment of doing the handwash, hahhaha just wanted to say because i don't want your clothes to stretch, since your outfit's are nice! :) YOUR HOUSE IS REALLY NICE!

I don't know if you tried those things when you were here in the Philippines. HAHAHAHA I miss those days when I'm still a kid that is why I suggested it. Char lang. Idk if this is possible but as far as I remember, in exchange of direct sunlight for plants, you can use artificial light, a light bulb with yellowish color (idk how to call that haha) and directly turn the them on to the plants. It serves as sunlight but in a different way? I just remember that It'll help the plants grow. 😅
