My hometown elizabethton Tennessee, and one my favorite burgers from elizabethton Dino’s . President Andrew Johnson died at his daughter’s house in elizabethton.

Thank you for posting I hoping to move to TN these type of videos help me make my decision. TN seems friendly, a state that loves America, honors its troops and history. Almost every city I explore has the same God bless places like about the same feel, a place that still loves America. God bless.

Great place to live. I was born there an lived to was 15.Then my dad took a job at Sharonville Ohio an we moved north. Have nothing but good memories of living in Biltmore an going to the Baptist church there.Robert Lee Bullock

We live in the next town Johnson City. Elizabeton is where we do most of our shopping. I didn't know about Dino's. The best burger I knew about was at Libby's until they closed. I must try this place.

Omgosh, I love Dino's but as long as I have lived here and went there I have never ate their hamburgers. I always ate the lasagna -now I'm going to have to get a hamburger. You made me so hungry. LOL.

Great video.. An ancestor of mine was one of the first to settle there, Michael Hyder.. I'm hoping to visit next year. I really enjoyed the video and I was hoping you would show the burger. I think I'll need to grab one of those.. Thanks again..

We stayed in Elizabethton last September at the Wedding Barn AirBNB. We loved that area!! Our plan is to retire to that area, but no date in mind yet. For now, we’re planning our 3rd trip in 3 years to NE TN in October, but this time in Sevierville due to our 30th anniversary. Entertainment focused rather than only research. Can’t wait to get there again!.

Hey Wendell. Love the channel and videos. I am a native of Butler, TN and moved to Chicago back in 2006. I miss Carter County and all of East Tennessee. Your videos keep me up to date. Can you do a video about Butler? I have subscribed and look forward to more.

I myself grew up and still live in Elizabethton Tn, I spent a lot of time in downtown as a kid with my mother shopping at Western Auto or Dollar General, S&H green stamp store, I always and I mean always got me a lemon filled doughnut from the bakery that was beside Westen Auto, I go to the Cruise in during the summer and the new live music at the Covered Bridge Park

Imo and Izzy Vlogs in the u.s a lot of places is starting to open with some restrictions. Like in the video here it’s every other table closed off .

Just curious, how's the crime there? It's a beautiful town, but when I look at crime statistics and reviews, I get mixed signals.

50/50 could be better, could be worse. Small town with not much to do. So there's drug related crime, mischief from bored kids/people, all that. I'd say drug, assault and theft are your top 3 there mainly. Pills and Meth are the top of the list for this area so you can imagine the kind of crime that goes on. Didn't grown up in Elizabethton but spent enough time in it my life. There isn't a lot of people that live in Elizabethton proper really they live in the country/mountains. Areas that I wouldn't recommend going in unless you know where you're going because you'll get lost. The area shown is really all the town is minus chain retailers and restaurants really now. There's a lake for fishing as well but wouldn't recommend eating anything you catch thanks to illegal dumping and chemical dumping from Eastman about 20/30 mins away. It's quite mainly. I wouldn't recommend the education system, it's not good.
