Excellent American craftsmanship. Much more interesting than watching "Woodsmith" on PBS where every episode is them making a book shelf or vegetable tray hahahaha. Only thing you need to do is add a pad under that felt.

Nice work buddy. Quick question! Do you have any recommendations on how to stop the metal cup holders from being able to easily slide out of the hole you cut. I was thinking of using rubber bans to make it fit tighter in the slot. Just incase a pop can or beer bottle sticks to the metal at times and when someone pulls their drink out it doesn't pull the holder with it

Easier to pick up the cards and chips without stabbing fingernails into the felt to get a grip, this only happens when the out lip is higher and you cant just slide the chips and cards off. Makes sense to me.

Beautiful!!! Awesome table. I have a large octagon poker table I picked up at Goodwill. It does not have felt on top. I have a round piece of felt on it but want something nicer. I was thinking of fastening felt to 1/4" luan cut in a circle...or would you suggest octagon? Tips on fastening felt to luan? So it is tight.
