For the boarding skill, i been doing it for 20 years, at first it is hard to get use to it. Always try to feel the wave and manage your balance also it is recommended to keep your weight towards the back keeping balance. Also go faster it will feel scary at first, but the wave will be stronger and more momentum. Good luck

@David - Some thoughts: My friend would invite me over to go wakeboarding a lot when I was younger. He bought this special bag that he filled with water specifically made to put in the back of your boat to create a larger wake. In addition to that, we would would get as many people as we could into the boat as well to add that additional weight. That should clean up the wake and make it smoother for you. You may have to adjust the length of the rope and the speed of the boat to find that perfect sweet spot. Great content brother, I appreciate it!

Either the setting on your boat is off or the speed is off. Wake looks small for a NXT. You can try a wake shaper or ballast bag in the back. You got it!

I would adjust the speed for wakesurfing. I would start around 11mph and then adjust the speed up or down accordingly. Also you can fill the water ballast in the boat. Fill the ballast up on the side of the boat you want to surf on to help shape the wave. I hope that helps! If you have any questions feel free to reach out!!

With the board on water u need to ride it like you ride snowboard on powder - weight on the back foot , trying to keep the nose up that s gonna give you more slide and speed on the wave ... It s counterintuitive because on snowboard they always teach you it s easier to turn with weight in front, but when u re advanced on snow as well you can make this shift to middle or back

I just wake surfed for this first time this weekend. I was able to chill in the wave eventually. Based on what I was taught, stay closer to the middle. So close that the wave pushes you forward when you lean forward. I think you’re to far outside and too far from the boat

Boat advice, need more weight for a clean wake. Check out “ballast” bags, but your mastercraft should have them already incorporated into the boat. Drop the speed down a bit, from there you should be all good!

Hey man, be careful with your elbow. Repetitive stress on that tendon can cause it do became much worse, and you may end up with an awful tennis elbow. I've had it for years now and it's terrible. Also, don't ever get steroid injection for it. Amazing video btw.

Your surf wave is definitely crap. Figure out the ballast settings and surf gate aswell. My best advice is carving the wave to build momentum. Feet placement is huge as well, the board you have is a surf style meaning the fins will do most the work. Put rear foot directly above fins. Even your weight as much as possible. If you're still having trouble buy a Malibu.

The wake for sure needs to be bigger and also your speed looks a little fast. Im no professional but this looks like some of the issue for sure. Maybe fill up the ballasts or start by filling one. Your wife is the only weight in the boat. If your boat was full of people the wake would for sure be bigger. Good luck!
