Yes, In Morgan Stanley in US, the pay is around $600k for vps, 800k for directors , 350k for associates. So you can make 6 crore per annum at 35 years old, 2 crore per annum at 22 years old.

I am not Indian, but latino. But I really would like to see Indian on the top. They need to keep building their own companies as Zoho, etc and make them global to compete to the west. Financially, too. That will be very good for the World. In that way, the rest will depende less and less of the west

My college had me sit in JP morgan's briefing and at that moment I didn't even know the weight of my circumstances. I seriously had no idea about this company and I was sitting there, my friends getting jealous of me for the opportunity was given to only handful of folks in my college.

Morgan Stanley is honestly one of the better firms on the street in terms of people culture. I have horror stories from my time in JP. I know people with horror stories from JP, Nomura and Goldman. You have to love the industry, or else it'll consume you alive. I absolutely love what I do, so it is bearable.

@@kishorekumar624 the culture is alright from what I've heard. I know people there and haven't heard complaints. For Morgan Stanley I can say for sure that the firm's culture and it's people is of high importance for the global leadership.

48/7=6.85 : )) now that's 48 cuz 1 week equals 168 hours and therefore the sleep time for that guy averaged around 6.85 hours per day

Morgan Stanely, please get your act together. After acquiring ETrade, it now takes 1 or 2 hours on hold before speaking with a customer service representative and this has been going on for the past 6 months. Today, after talking to robots, 46 minutes on hold, a rep finally came on only to say he couldn't hear me and hung up.

People are running behind IB thinking that it's a top most profile with highest pay package (well it is) and will be a status symbol (Nobody cares) but little they know is working hours! If you are thinking that you will get into IB and will earn in lakhs just by working 8-9 hours a day, you are wrong! In IB any department people work for minimum 15-20 hours everyday.. sometimes no week off! Forget about the work life balance! Only suitable for those people who are workaholic by nature! Otherwise skip

You have to stay in the office (pre covid) or stay online (post covid) for ~100-120 hours a week during deal making - coz a request from a VP/MD can come any time. Doesn't mean you're working all time. I interned in capital markets and M&A guys took too many breaks. It is kind of doable in your mid 20s.

It's not exactly a 24 hour workday for everyone. If you're in trading and/or involved in live markets in any way, yes you can be expected to be reachable at any point in time. So no, he's not completely wrong. Money doesn't sleep.

Do you even know how much the Executive Director or Partners make at Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs?? Nothing is easy dude. You have to be different from others and as you grow your experience will make you much better at your job and that will reflect in your salary. And you are talking about this 1-2 CR jobs at FAANG, I request you to check their salary breakdown first then you will get to know how these companies pump their CTCs

@@contrastentertainment1749 it's there choice. Besides not everyone dies at 35 if they put that many hours. Look at Modi ji. He gets up at 4 to work, works 7 days a week all year at this age. You know right that he's way past 35? Elon Musk used to put 22 hours at a stretch when he was a newbie entrepreneur. Did he die? He's probably 40 and fit.

Why anybody want to work for 120 hours in a week in first place. First clear why someone is working not by choice it's the necessity to earn money for the family. 120 hours is like 72% of total 7 days week. When do you sleep and when do you care for yourself I am not even counted the time for any other things. Family going to work Sleep Eating Food
