I was JUST there this last September for a wedding!!! Got upgraded to Preferred status as an extra perk for my friends getting married there. I was in Room 203 and was right by the pool and the water park, and one of the quick service restaurants. The adult pool was pretty lack luster for our group. The swim up bar was AMAZING, and we had multiple cabana during the stay. WE made the sports bar a THING every night we were there!!!! Loved the Italian restaurant and the Hibachi restaurant!!! Like I said the TRIP was AMAZING, but was SO HAPPY to celebrate my friends wedding, that I might have given RXTREME passes on a lot of basic experiences.

Green video Jay! This resort was nicer than the 1st one. There were more activities for kids and families. But, I don't think I would call it Luxurious.

@@jthenomad8093We all thank you for doing it, though. I'm really not a fan of All Inclusives anywhere in the Gulf or the Caribbean. The first time I went to Cancun was in 1982 when I was all of 10 years old and there really wasn't much there. Cancun is one of the newest major cities in the Americas, and when you go there you may as well be in the USA. Especially if you don't leave your resort property. I always have this compulsion to say to buddies who come back from Cancun and say they had a good time in Mexico... So how was American Mexico? Or There's so much more to Mexico than an All Inclusive. But you easily could say the same about Jamaica. $1500/night is a ripoff anywhere in that area. You can rent a villa with a maid and a cook on the beach in Coz or Playa for that much. That sounds like a true ripoff to me. Or why not rent a hacienda in or close to Merida? You can explore the cenotes, learn about Spanish Colonialism, visit Aztec ruins, and still be 30 or 45 minutes from amazing salt water.

As nice as that resort is, I would definitely prefer to cruise. More destinations and a much greater (and better) selection of food!

Thanks J for the tour. I work in hospitality so compared to the properties I currently work at I would consider this property a decent hotel. Our best suite which at peak season goes for around $430 per night runs circles around the Sapphire's top suit at $1500. The plus is that food is included at Sapphire.

Hi Justin, well, I’ve been to many all inclusive with friends and family and they’re ok. It always seem that the night clubs and shows are either non existent or very boring. The food is always so so but it’s always nice to hit the beach each day. Think I’ll stick with cruising.

J, these places are beautiful and we used to go to Mexico often. But Mexico is so dangerous now. Also, until they close their southern border and stop letting the cartels run things, stop allowing the fentanyl and human trafficking across their border, I'm not spending a peso in their country. Please review some Caribbean resorts and some in other destinations like Miami, the Keys, Mediterranean countries, Europe, especially the in Switzerland, the Victoria-Jungfrau. So gorgeous and definitely luxurious. Le Meridien Bora Bora, some Paris or London hotels. I look forward to seeing all the places you go.

Hey trust me I understand where you're coming from and understand your frustrations about our issues with Mexico. I live in Corpus Christi, Texas and until about 10 years ago I was fine with going to our Texas and Mexican Border cities. No way I'd go there now. But the Yucatan Peninsula is very safe. I've never had any issues or not felt unsafe anywhere in that area. Just know that just like in America there's a 'hustle' often involved with locals. Don't buy drugs, jewelry, Rolexes (even fake ones that they'll say are fake but won't last 2 months), or 'Cuban' cigars on the beach. All of them are fake EVERY time. Anywhere there are transportation hubs you're going to get bombarded with both hustlers and honest business owners. But I can say the same about Paris or especially Amsterdam. It's just how it is. But that area is very safe for tourists.

The beach looks beautiful. I travel Cancun and Cabo San Lucus Mexico often and comparing this propert to Zilara, Zoetry; Nah this not luxury! No valet, no elevators, and no premium liquor. No club or VIP access -- I don't eat any anyones buffet. Every holtel in Cancun has a MJ and Transformer show. The 24-hour bar was dead -- at least in the video. Te RIU / DREAMS are ever luxurious but always family appropriate.

Great content J as usual! Loving your new videos and you are still staying true to your opinions. Both Dream and Riu looked dated to me tbh. The $300/ night room and the $1500/night room aren’t worth the ticket prices. You can get a much better deal on cruise or many US cities for much better quality accommodations/food/entertainment.

I stayed at the swim up at Wyndham Alltra and Hyatt Zivia and 100% recommend. Prices at those are less than 1500 and they resorts in my experience are better especially the Zivia. But swim up highly recommend at least ocean front.

flying there right now for 4 nights. booked on priceline for $200 a night. it was a mystery deal so I didn’t know what hotel priceline chose for me until i paid. i guess im going to have a great time if most people book it for $1500 lol

I only stay at Nizuc in Cancún. Nizuc Resort & Spa, not that horrid Moon Palace. I also detest all inclusives as the food is generally subpar and you sort of feel trapped on property since you already prepaid.

J good overview of the resort. My wife and I are travel agents since '19. Cancun is a hit and miss. I would honestly say the vibe is party central. Also please remind your viewers to stay away from even thinking about buying pot/drugs down there. Cartel are watching you.

Nice video .We attended the resort this year family vacation .Not at all what I expected.Lots of renovations going on so the main dinning room was closed .So we are in a banquet hall .Horrible vibe .Unless you upgrade I don’t think it’s worth it .That being said why upgrade just go to a nicer resort lol 😂

Hey J. Again. Nice resort but not luxurious. Nice restaurants. Great pools. The spa looks inviting. The clubs are only as fun as the guests. Your room is a nice size but standard. The preferred suite is nice and spacious but again not luxurious. Basic furniture. Perhaps it’s dated and needs to be refurbished. Does not look worth $1500/night. Love the swim up pool. Would stay there. It’s a nice resort but definitely not luxurious.

Definitely not a go for me😳You're 100% right, definitely not luxurious and overpriced at $1500. The swimming pool was nice. The spa was just okay. I go to the spa quite often. New Jersey, they have a spa SoJO Spa that's upscale. I'm going to head back to the ship😉😅

Your showing me all inclusive look like a terrible option for luxury compared to cruises. All the food and entertainment looks subpar. I think these spots are people to trick them into what luxury is.
