Yeah I think one of the coolest thing of the game is its fluidity in all the basics of open worlds such as combat, exploration, character animations it really feels like a movie

i was playing wuwa a few hours ago, i realized that my game wasnt lagging at all, compared to week 1. or week 1 of 1.1, they are constantly updating optimization. Exploring is still so fun including the boring grinding stuff for characters. The Artstyle also enhances the story making it so gooodd. Its so unique yet so familar. Truly a great game

I pulled for Jinshi cause I liked ger design, it just so happened that she was an amazing dps so I also pulled for her weapon

Playing Wuwa makes me want more games with this kind of combat mechanic. And since it pays attention to the skill, maining a support character is fun, I make Mortefi my main since I like his attack so much. Like your insight Doro!

Mt. Firmament doesn't look all that big on the map, but then you get there and realize that most of it has like 2-3 layers built into it.

I really enjoyed the story quest of 1.1, I was blown away the first few minutes of the quest because of the much more movement of the characters which made them more alive. The combat too, now the humanoid enemies have voicelines which at the beginning made me want to wipe out every enemy I see. Also the use of Changli even if she's not yet available to pull, this made me want this one hell of a woman more than ever. Lastly the new map extension is very pituresque it is also not a hassle to explore because of various tools that is given and even the hotsprings my man I'm so grateful for that (I main Danjin soo it helps a lot).

would be interesting to see you doing tower/ holograms, whether it's success or hardship, this aspect of WuWa is entertaining to watch

As someone who came into genshin during Wanderer's release and has to constantly be confronted reminders of limited time weapons and events I'll never get to enioy, getting to start WuWa and ZZZ at launch has been such a breath of fresh air. Neither *feel* like genshin too heavily, yet the similarity in the core gameplay mechanics & nitty gritty systems makes me feel much more like I'm walking in with an educated leg up, versus how genshin, as my first gacha, left me confused for a lot of the first few months as I struggled to figure out what was gonna get me to what I'd enjoy most. So I'm going to be sticking with WuWa and I'd love to see more content on it, even if only sparingly or when tied to major releases! I'm optimistic that the creators are serious and devoted to the game, and I'm the type of patient person who is happy to take my time, not feel pressured to be around daily, and is excited to see how it takes off and truly develops over time. If I don't like the end direction? Then I will likely phase it out. But I don't hold my current genshin love to the standards of my initial genshin confusion and the same will be said for WuWa until it's really started to self-realize in unique ways and the developers get to time to grow into their own. It's an optimistic POV, but I'd rather be so much more optimistic about the games I enjoy than pessimistic.

This game blew me out of the water! It’s the only game I put a lot of effort in, more than Genshin dare I say. The combat system, character design, the soundtrack is all just insane in my opinion. Wuwa has a bright future ahead.

The thing I like about WuWa is the artstyle, I really love those darkish color hehe. And its combat, exploration, story and also the dailies (The daily doesn't feel like a chore which is good). Also the story, PURE CINEMA indeed. Like I literally saved up my astrite for Changli but after doing the main quest on 1.1, I just pulled for Jinhsi and her weapon. We must protect Jinhsi at all cost!!!!! And, tbh, WuWa is a type of Gacha Game for me that I didn't feel like a Gacha Game because based on my gameplay since launch skills > characters. Preferred Playstyle > Meta. I pulled for Yinlin too. But I never got to enjoy playing her since I didn't enjoy her playstyle. I just pulled because of the hype. In conclusion, what's the in pulling for MetA characters if you can't execute the combos properly, right? I also like the lvl 120 secret bosses in WuWa, I can feel my adrenaline rushing everytime I fight them. Which is great! P.S. You should do more WuWa content too hehe Maybe balance of Genshin content and WuWa Content?

Gotta say in 1.0 I wasn't completely sold on WuWa, the combat was very enjoyable and flashy but the story, even after the last act, didn't really catch my attention. And most importantly the music just wasn't that good. There were 1 or 2 memorable tracks and I'm a HUGE music guy, it is so important to me for the immersion and the general vibes. But 1.1 proved that Kuro really can cook. The story really gripped me, the characters were amazing and the music in the new zone is absolutely phenomenal. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us in future updates. I'm saving everything for Camellya lmao.

Considering how young the game still is, I am amazed at how good this game is. And I heard that voice direction has been a priority after the shaky start.

I don't play Wuthering Waves but whenever i see my son playing that game, i see that emotions coming through him for the first time ever, I've always seen him as a sort of emotionless type of kid like he doesn't enjoy any games out there because he's more of a going outside and sleep type of kid. But one night i heard him happily screaming "I JUST HIT 932K ON JINSHI!!" Hearing him happily screaming over a game kind of makes me happy in a more of a supportive way.

my Fav area in Genshin is 4.4 area but man this Wuwa 1.1 map is on the same lvl in my opinion but WUwa excecute it so much better than Genshin in how their introduce it start with yippy yappy with NPC and row the boat into the fogs hearing Changli sing and start walking around coridor and came out with such beauty full scenery and everyting is Frozen in ice(time).

Late to the party and missed Jinzhi. But I pulled Changli and the thing you said about playstyle is spot on. Changli is so much fun to me, it elevates the experience!

I've really been enjoying WuWa with the open world and fighting mechanics are really top notch. Two things I don't hear anyone complaining about are both in co-op. First, the databank used while in co-op is set by the lowest players databank. I noticed this because my databank is level capped and someone joined my world and all of a sudden I'm getting blue echos. The second item is very minor and was something that other games *cough*Genshin*cough* also had but fixed. Basically trying to find other players on the map. Love your attitude and content Doro!

For the people still having issues with the lag on pc. Try the game on windowed screenless mode instead of full screen mode. I usually do alt + enter to get it to windowed mode and then alt + enter again to do windowed screenless mode. Or go to settings and put the game to windowed mode and then alt + enter to go windowed screenless mode. Bread and butter of difference for me i tell ya.

When i started weathering waves i pulled for yin lin thanks to the free pulls and i was not expecting to get her at my first 10 pulls which was great, the game is really good though it was a bit laggy but still enjoyed it. Will comeback after i get a new phone

There was a performance update for the CN server yesterday, and other servers should have gotten the update as well. The mobile version has been greatly optimized by reducing rendering range and effects. For example, in Mt. Firmaent, player's attack could leave a mark on the snow. This looked great, but quickly drained the battery, so Kuro got to remove it.

I think people down play Jinshi… she is literally the best designed character thus far out of any game. IMO

One thing I love about the game, and I havent really seen people mentioning it, is the variety of daily quests, and while I know that its still early in the game, and the game really only gives you 1 quest per day, I havent seen a repeated quest that involves NPCs, and the quest that repeats (kinda) actually has a in game lore reason why you keep getting the same quests, and even then there are slight variations in the dialogue between the quests.

After THE final chapter and final battle of 1.0. I would expect 1.1 to take it slow and have another big fight in 1.2 or 1.3, but Kurogames said "NOPE!"

when we have a down time period in the game i hope the focus on fixing the 1.0 story redoing the voicelines and such so even if the story feels subpar to new players it wont feel consequential plus the skip button is still there so even if they don't go through all of it and they do notice the pick up in the later half of the story it indicates that 1.1 was better and not much of a flux like 1.0

What I like about WuWa is the game looks "mature". Whereas genshin is colorful, fun, and pretty, with questionable design choice for some male characters which makes me personally uncomfortable. In WuWa, female characters look gorgeous and beautiful, and male characters look manly and badass. The combat mechanic is simpler than genshin (with all those elemental reactions) but the parry and dodge thing make the combat more engaging. And I love the easy exploration, skippable quest dialogues, and mid-air combat.

What I loved most about 1.1 was the abundance of water in it's several states and the way they were animated. If there is one thing I find kind of sad in Genshin, it's the water. But WuWa had such beautiful water already in 1.0 and the animations during the 1.1 main quest.... Boy was that gorgeous. It gave Disney Moana vibes during later cutscenes.

My only complaints with 1.1 is just the level scaling in Mt. Firmament and that the enemies hit surprisingly hard. The tiger has a crap ton of health in high 80s, if not for my "subpar" Jinshi, it would take a while for me to kill them. It's not hard but it's embarrassing that my Jinshi almost dies to an ice cube 💀

Oh man the 1.1 Update is a blessing to me. Usually it take like 3-5 minutes for my PC to rendering the game, but now is only like near 1 minute? In my phone is become more perfect! The amount of improvements in small details are testament to the newfound confidence and pride Kurogames has gained with how well the launch went despite the issues. They took feedback, and immediately set out to rectify the grievances players had initially. The result almost feels like a jump from beta to full release, and Kuro really earned my respect for going through all the criticism and not just giving up. In its current state, Wuthering Waves is really fun, Kuro just needs to keep up the pace and not get complacent. Now I'm waiting for Changli to finally drop. I tried Jinshi, and while her kit is extremely strong, I feel like you're getting railroaded a bit too hard into one specific combo that goes on for too long.

After playing WuWa for a few weeks, I just can't go back to games like Genshin. The gameplay and storytelling(within the game/non-cutscene/non pre-renders) are just great. You FEEL way more involved rather than simply just "there". And my only significant issue that was World/Environment building, which is basically unwritten story that the worlds tells you without actually telling you(like significant spots of interest in the world connecting to the overall) is pretty much well improved with the 1.1 updates. And lastly, knowing KuroGames(I play Punishing Gray), I am more than inclined to stick with them in this wuhering waves journey.

I’ve only had some issues with wuwa but it was when I had my iPhone 11, a week after the release I got the new 15 pro max and the game has gotten WAY better, by far my favorite game, there is so much to do even after exploring every area and doing every quest, 10/10 would recommend to everyone

I pulled for Jinshi cuz you don't normally see a full white haired character that has their eyebrows/eyelashes also white, its mostly just white hair with black eyebrows/lashes so Jinshi to me is special and I really dig her design also

I was playing YinLin for a while since she was already maxed out as far as I could go. Then started leveling up everyone else i needed for comps, decided to hold off on Jinshi since i need my other teams. Boy was I wrong to have procrastinate Jinshi. She literally is carrying everything right now and has shortened the time it takes to complete my dailies. Shouldve maxed her out as far as I could go WAY sooner.

They really hear our feedback. I have a bug after updating the reported it, they send me a small update within 2 hours and fixed the bug. I really love this gacha system then genshin, it's not that frustrating like genshin, for back to back pity fail.

Not gonna lie the 1.1 map and art direction is such a huge upgrade to the game, I thought the city was gorgeou, if they keep up this level of quality this game is gonna be great for sure

I’m so glad the game runs better now. Also, idk what happened but it feels like the game is, not easier but sort of more manageable. I’m glad it’s getting better I was so excited pre-launch but it was just too unoptimized. It’s way better now!

By 2.0, we're gonna have 15 different dragons, and they all have the SAME F-CKING BODY STRUCTURE Also, I wanna make some changes to the Jue bossfight: if you have Jinhsi on your team, make it so that Jue can be replaced with an alternate version so that it doesn't look like we have 2 Jue's

Hint for the folks struggling with performance: you should probably decrease the shadow/lighting settings to the lowest, because that’s the biggest hit on your FPS… which is a shame: the game looks so much worse with the shadows at the lowest settings.

personally the only bug ive encountered while playing the new 1.1 was also a camera bug, although different from yours. i was fighting a boss and my camera automatically went to the right and when i tried to look back at the enemy it went to the right again. laster for like 2 seconds though. but overall im enjoying the game and waiting for changli to come out! (great vid)
