Alex Pereira came out of nowhere, and it seems like no one can mess with him. He appeared at a time when everyone thought Izzy was untouchable, and the craziest part is that Izzy himself summoned him.

I can't imagine Alex at 250 +/- lbs, it's fucking scary lol. If he keeps his speed & cardio, flexibility & gets "stronger", omfg. I think he's going to fight Ankelaev &, win or lose, go to HW. Much like he did with the MW title & losing to Izzy. He continued on to LHW.

I know that Ankalaev is the last guy in the division for Alex, but why should he have this title shot? Who has Ankalaev beaten? His last win was against Walker, which ended after an illegal strike (then win in the rematch). Walker has already fought someone else and lost. Ankalaev doesn't deserve this.

What’s fucking crazy is that he’s barely taken any damage in his last 2 fights and they were both short notice. On top of that, he’s used to an even faster tempo from kickboxing. I think he beats Ankalaev, especially if he has a full camp where he can work on TDD, and I think he has a striker’s chance of taking the HW belt, too. If he does that he’s the GOAT
