My HOPES Were DASHED At This Garage Sale!
Today, Stacey and I take you along with us to a some garage sales to look for items to resell online for a profit! The day started out great and we found some fantastic items! One of the garage sales we went to was loaded with tons of crates and totes to look through. Honestly it was a bit overwhelming because there was so much stuff! Then, at one of the garage sales I was so excited when I found this item but my hopes were immediately destroyed! Check out everything we found today!

First day of summer... Up at 3am, took the dogs out to play, put the dogs to bed, took a shower and spent my day at the nursing home caring for the elderly. I love my peeps, so it was a good day. 🙂

At the sale with the John Deere stool, there was a blanket wrapped that might have been new.. You didn't even look to see if it had satin trim or if it was new.. love to watch you source. Good luck..

Don't be afraid to ship bigger things. I had 2 tower speakers I shipped using fedex I combined them into one box about 75 lb. They come to your house and pick it up for free. And its surprisingly inexpensive. You just grab some freezer boxes from the local big box store and form your own box to fit whatever you have to pack. Easy peasey

@@floridapickers876 You just have it ready with your label on it, you go to their site and schedule a pickup with a note as to where on your place you have it ready for them to pick-up..

Happy belated 1st day of Summer! Too bad on the 360 but at least you didn't pay much for it. In my area people still want $30-40 for untested consoles and we've bought too many that do not work, so we put together a bag of cords, a power converter, and a small flatscreen that we take in our car to test them out before we buy. If someone won't let us test it, we usually won't buy it. I always buy empty cases and manuals - some of them sell for quite a bit on their own, but also we buy a lot of game bundles and are always getting loose discs so having cases to match them up with raises the value. I've found a lot of times people will either just give them to us or charge like $0.25 each for them.

In Florida doesn't it go from hot to hotter when you go from spring to summer? That's why there are yard sales in Florida all year, it's never COLD.

Unfortunately, the garage sales slow down a lot during the summer due to the extreme heat, humidity, and lots of rain.

Love, LoVe, LOVE The Goofy Movie!!! ❤❤❤ I like to watch it right before our camping trips. This year, I bought our yearly Disney ornament that is based of The Goofy Movie. You have excellent taste!!!

@@floridapickers876 I’m not sure. I found it at Animal Kingdom, of all places! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Someone had one, so I asked in one shop and she waked me over to the shop that had them. There were only six in there. I bought two, one for us and one for a family member.

I had fun on Wednesday, it was so hot 🥵. We were inside a building with AC it was the Spring Fling Luncheon for Seniors. I have a problem with my back so my legs hurt so bad. I couldn’t dance, but it was fun watching seniors dance 💃 It’s very nice each year they go all out for us seniors. You both did very good with your buys this day. Keep on finding more items to sell 👍🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

My mom says the same thing lol It's definitely hard sometimes! We don't have a lot of extra space and I can't stand clutter, so I try to remember that when I want to keep something. If we pick up something new to keep then we try to get rid of something else to make space.

It depends on the sale (estate sales start later usually), but most start around 8 here.

You guys should have paid the Vietnam Vet what he wanted for the camera. $15 as you said was a great deal. Why not pay the price? Either you negotiated off camera or he gave you the wrong change. Either way, not great etiquette.

Hi Cadence. We did not negotiate off camera. I just didn't notice that he gave me the wrong change. It was an honest mistake. I didn't notice when I was editing the footage either or I would have said something about it. Thanks for letting me know.
