RECIPE: www.flavcity.com/homemade-hummus We made homemade hummus. The key is pressure cooking chickpeas and using the leftover liquid to make a smooth and creamy hummus recipe.

My fave hummus recipie is BEET HUMMUS - pureed beets, white vinegar, lemon zest, lemon juice, tahini and chickpeas - puree it all together to get it smooth. Utterly scrumptious! Beets are super nutrient dense and act as a vasodialator - they open up the blood vessels, veins and arteries to make blood move and circulate.

Hi, don't forget the cumin for a great taste and anti bloating 😂. Hello from a native Middle Eastern. Actually, we make it differently, the oul isn't mixed in. It's lavishly poured on top. Try it with fresh mint. A sprinkle of red Aleppo pepper flakes as garnish is delicious. Saha wa hana...health and pleasure pleasure.

It’s been quite a while since I have watched, I think little Rosie was only about two years old then. She has continued to grow into a beautiful child, with a healthy appetite and a great curiosity around food, fresh ingredients and cooking. Keep cooking together. 🎉

Thanx for allowing Rosie to help you in the kitchen; feeling empowered. I love how you speak to her; and the words/ affirmations that you choose to speak to her. Such as "the most important job" of the cooking process. Affirming her role/ input/ presence/ thoughts & opinions matter. She is being seen & heard. That's a blessing. Many children are not unfortunately. And remember you never know how your content may powerfully impact someone to heal. Wishing you & your family all the best & much continued success. 🙌🏽

This is a keeper recipe, it’s the perfect flavor w/the roasted garlic. The only question I have is using the liquid from the pressure cooked garbanzo beans. Are you adding back in lectins which were extracted into the water during the pressure cooking?

I always use some cumin and a hot pepper. Love homemade too. If you only have stove top, if you boil beans for 10 minutes then turn the heat down to cook, it will get rid of the lectins as well.
@justmejk9 ай бұрын
How long do you cook them after lowering the heat?
@victoriabarclay35569 ай бұрын
@@justmejk it depends on the beans. Usually 40 minutes for most beans and garbanzos can be an hour or more. I will say kidney beans are toxic if not thoroughly cooked so I just get those in cans if I use them.

Your videos are awesome 🎉 thank you so much 😊 I always wonder any organic oil has to be minimum expeller pressed if not cold pressed even though they do not mention because if they use conventional method like using hexane to extract the oil then how can they label them as organic because it is chemical. Please let me know if my understanding of organic is wrong.
