Victoria Inyama abandoned a thriving Nollywood career as a peer to Genevieve Nnaji, Kate Henshaw, Jim Iyke and others to go live with her husband in the United Kingdom.
It was supposed to be a happily-ever-after story, except it wasn’t.
She says he beat her, brought his girlfriends home to torment her and threatened to kill her. To this day, she says, he continues to threaten her with death or jail.
In this interview, she goes deeper than she ever has in telling her story.

Peoples are too gullible. One person says something and everyone runs with it. I wouldn’t judge until I hear from the other party. When Emeka Ike aired his plight, people wanted to crucify the ex wife, but after hearing from her, you then started to have second thoughts. People lie a lot. So, I will never judge based on story from one party

@@ibitolaogunsanya6772You may not have said that but that’s the silent message your comment conveyed. Your comment shames/shade those that may tell their story still feeling a little bitter or unhappy. Africa, saying a woman is bitter or not yet healed for very deep wounds done to her, is not an insult on the woman. It tells of a toxic societal stigma. At least if a child is beaten, we should allow them to cry in any way that comforts them. When we always want them to quickly snap out of it and show “pretend” face, the abusers win all over again and move to their next victim.

I wanted to say the same thing, I was not happy with her response to Ema Suzanne, Emeka Ex wife, not knowing she was also married to a psycho and a narcissists like Emeka. Go Ema, all those who said you are a lair will come out confessing their own abusive marriages. In this world, the only person we really know is the one who we sleep and wakeup with. Not the ones who we meet at the theatre practice hall. This is for Regina Askie as well.

She's always like that. Even in May's case. Don't mind her.
