And this is why I don't buy all that crap. We really don't need all those chemicals on our face to look good or care for our skin. You're better off just taking the time researching what you need to address a certain issue and make that yourself at home. Or if you need to buy something, save up enough to buy the bulk of it and/or buy the small portion product and use it sparingly. I don't understand people who use 100+ products on the daily, it's just plain ridiculous to me. Yea when I had my first real relationship when we lived together and had to buy our own groceries i was in shock at what woman's products cost... After that ended I dated a girl that worked at Ulta. First day I ever brought her lunch I was walking towards the back looking at prices of makeup just in shock😂 When we went makeup shopping once she dropped $200+ on a few things and I just went "Am I gonna recognize you after all that?". She didn't enjoy that but the lady taking my credit card did.

My facial hair takes forever to grow so I just buy cheap like $2 bag of cheap razors I'll just re use a bunch so the whole bag lasts forever. I splurge on some shampoo AND conditioner instead of the 2in1.Then I get my deodorant and 12 bars of soap. That's if I'm not single. If I'm single I just get 3in1 soap, toothpaste and deodorant and I'm set for the month😂 Going make up shopping is fine but seeing how expensive it is makes me wanna try and convince them that they don't need it even if I'm not paying.

While I agree with the prices being ridiculous, the people using the make-up aren't. Make-up is a lot like clothes, it's used for people to express themselves, make their insecurities lessen, and typically the idea is the more $ you spend, the better the quality. Again I don't agree with the pricing, but if people can afford to do that then more power to'em

Some drugstore makeup is also really good. There are plenty of target finds that word really well. I watched video of a makeup chemist lab test different foundations. I think it was the FitMe cosmetic foundation? But it was about $10 and super good compared to some expensive brands. And if you need a eyeliner that will not move move even if you try, NYX waterproof has your back for $10

They also have a lot of things in them that higher end makeup doesnt that irritates the skin. Find products that work for you, dont look by price if you want nice skin.

pink tax is the idea that women pay more for the same product than men, but that is also a kind of stupid concept if you actually think about it... Like the popular pink tax item of choice is the plastic bic shavers, the blue one for men is like 2$ and then the pink one for women is like 2.50$. If they are the exact same product why not just buy the blue one? its not like women are getting charged extra at the counter for being women. Some times I feel like stuff like "pink tax" was a psyop by conservatives to make libs look stupid.
