Good for Adile's second wife who is very clever to up with this revenge scheme instead of being upset like Adile's first wife Aria because he got what he deserved in the end for using two womens for his selfish greed. I don't know what became of Adile after that but I bet Aria's father have him arrested for his betrayal and as for Aria I would say that her father have given her a serious lecture about men like Adile and should have divorce him when it's very clear that Adile never really love her in the first place.

While it was horrifying I'm thrilled our protagonist heard the conversation between Adile and Aria because if she hadn't who knows what would have happened to her. By the way OP is a very smart woman, while it's not okay to ruin a marriage, both Adile and Aria brought it upon themselves for planning to get rid of her. Why should we be cheering for the main character in this story? In the beginning, after finding out she wasn't really the husband's wife she decided basically to be his live-in mistress on the belief that he was using the 1st wife for business/financial purposes and that he would abandon the 1st wife for her. She was in support of the plan and was willing to stick it out until she found out that the couple was planning to use her as a brood mare. Being the MC doesn't make her a good person.
