Okay, I get now adays the word "Daddy" is sexualized but here's the thing. If it's an adult calling another adult "Daddy" then yeah it could be for the kink, However once a child says it, that's when it's not at all sexual and is just your kid calling you Daddy because it's easy for them to say. To even think of that coming from your kid in an inappropriate manner is just gross.

Exactly! Also an 18 month old wouldn't know the concept of 'inappropriate' things because it's only a BABY! It disgusts me that a child innocently saying 'daddy' is seen as 'inappropriate' by the child's OWN FATHER!

First story: He is an imbecile. All he has to do is wait until she's about 15 or so and then she won't be talking to him at all. And he'll be wondering why not. Daddy? Is he watching too many dirty movies? Second story: As bad as that may seem, it could have gone much, much worse. However, by telling his wife, he has made his problem into her problem. After the update: Obviously it did go much worse. He mesed this up big time. Well. some people don't know what they have until they lose it.

She'll stop talking to him a lot sooner if he starts thinking his female child is making sexual advances every time she sits on his lap, hugs him or wants to be carried. I would think a long walk off a short jetty would be appropriate for this guy. He needs to take his hand of the joystick and get his mind and thinking out of the X rated web adventures.

Blame porn, because people with kinks keep that between consenting adults in adult spaces, never in public or around children. Anyone who would feel that way about their child watches too much porn because people separate calling their partner baby and their child baby all the time. I’m so sure he only feels this way about his daughter because she’s a girl and he’s struggling to see women/girls as anything other than sexual which is in itself messed up but worse when projected onto his own child.

That’s what children do. They’re supposed to call their parents daddy and mommy. Every child does that. Unless they were taught to say something different. Or they have like two dads then you have to like make sure they refer to the right one as the right “dad”. Like home boy needs to put down p++n and chill TF out. 😂 Also if I was the mom I’d be freaked out if my husband saw my kid sexually because she was saying daddy. Red flag

0:05: This whole "don't call me daddy or dad" thing just gives out creepy vibes to it. I don't know what to make of this. Maybe he wants his daughter to call him "father" or something. I hope that's all it is. 2:31: At first, OP's husband resigning from his university job was a simple case of nipping something in the bud, but after the truth came out, OP is right to file for divorce. OP's husband is a scumbag for pursuing an intimate relationship with the student in question and jeopardizing his marriage in the process. Besides, who resigns simply because he developed feelings for one of his students?
@Kayenne54
@Kayenne54 2 ай бұрын
I knew as soon as OP said "He told Uni higher ups his reasons for leaving" that he was trying to gain brownie points for "being honest". Absolutely no way he didn't mess with the girl. He was scared he was going to get outed so resigned first to try and put his own spin on things (or he actually got sacked and he's oh no, he's lying, who would have thought??) Nope. Out with the garbage. He's lying to himself, to OP and to his former employer. And the poor misguided girl, who has stars in her eyes and a nice high pass mark as well.

About the university teacher I think I would have forgiven him if he really hadnt acted on his feelings and had done the right thing by immediately resigning and telling everyone what happened and why he is leaving, because sometimes we cant help how we feel but we can take control over the situation and step away But since he did act on those feelings it looks more like he got scared that the student may tell someone else and "ruin his life" so he decided to just simply confess a half-truth

First guy doesn't have nephews or nieces? Of course little kids can't pronounce most words so they default to baby language. That little girl doesn't say daddy in a sexual way (how in the world??). Instead of dirty looks he could act like her dad and help her practice her words until "dad" or even "papa" is easier to say.

My ex and his siblings called their parents (my then MIL and FIL) by their first names. I never ever got over how disrespectful I felt that was. Apparently they always had. Big mistake. Because that means the "kids" think they're equal to the parents in terms of privilege, but I bet (knowing my ex at least) he didn't feel he had as much responsibility to everyone else in the family. I know he didn't. Even me calling them by their first name felt strange.

The man is a cheater and a predator. A 19yo girl still has the mind of a teenager. There is a reason why people who have the upper hand on others cannot fraternize. The power relationship is real. In some countries it is considered rape when someone pursues a relationship with a person they have power upon. I was once the naive 19yo and he was the 30yo Nice Guy™. I learned my lesson. She unfortunately will too

Honestly, I do understand the dad in the first story. It's so common for "Daddy" to be sexualized it's not surprising it just springs into people's heads. However, I do believe that he should have told his wife it made him uncomfortable much sooner instead of giving her dirty looks, and start teaching the daughter "papa" or something.

When it comes to the "daddy" thing with the husband I kinda see his point. Give a kid a phone these days and they search daddy in the search bar and they will be scarred for life. Though he could have been more upfront about it and communicated better.

@chiomorii
@chiomorii 2 ай бұрын
@@hunni.nut.cheerios it’s totally understandable and I agree that he shouldn’t be thinking it’s a bad word for her to say. But it’s still understandable where he may be coming from. The word “daddy” has been turned into something sexual unfortunately by weirdo adults to the point that the word coming up can cause uncomfortable reactions. He should definitely get over it and learn it should be perfectly fine for his child to say. But at the end of the day some understanding should be given as he’s a human being that gets uncomfortable by a word like most other people do (like idk some people hate the word moist or hate saying the words for genitals). - In my experience, I’m a woman myself who still calls my dad, “daddy” because I always felt it would be odd to randomly switch it and I never felt odd about it. But I can’t deny the fact that I get really self-conscious when in public or around friends or extended family, so I tend to avoid it. I also feel highly uncomfortable when seeing it said sexually in posts or comments. It’s a natural thing and I don’t think there should be anything to twist the meaning of being uncomfy by it by assuming the person is just dirty minded for being uncomfy.

@@hunni.nut.cheerios yeah and I do get that, he shouldn’t be feeling that way especially since it’s a kid and it’s innocent. But I don’t think feeling uncomfortable with something should be turned into thinking they’re dirty minded. I guess the solutions to this could be for them to teach their child to say anything other than that like: papa, dada, etc. Daddy isn’t the only word they can use to teach her. Or if the child already is used to saying daddy then he should just learn to get used to it. Idk it just doesn’t sit right when anyone feels uncomfortable and they have to be forced to be okay with something or they’re not normal. I remember as a child like 6 yrs old, hearing the word “sexy” and used it for the first time when an aunt asked how she looked when she got dressed up. She felt uncomfortable and told me not to say that. Even though I was a child and thought of it innocently, if the other person is uncomfy with it- it’s not really great to teach a child it’s ok to say whatever cause they’re just a kid and the adult has to suck it up.

@@chiomorii I mean, I guess?? But to me, that situation with your aunt and his are different. Like being called sexy by a kid, ok weird, and there's like actually a valid explanation that you can give to a child for that because it's a sexual compliment. But to tell your kid that they can't call you a generic nickname, children always use just because there's SOME people out there that use it in a sexual context? I don't know if that explanation was the best. I don't really know how to put.

How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? I hope just great!! In the very first story, he is 35 years old, he's not apart of Gen Z, and he needs to grow up and start recognizing his own daughter. Him and his wife [The Main Protagonist] created her together so he needs to start acting like a dad. He sounds like a complete joke as a parent. Either you leave him or you kick him out for being so fooolish and ignorant. In the second story, there is absolutely nothing that the main protagonist can do in this situation other than leave him because he's already told her that he has feelings for another lady. That is a 19 year old teenager whom he has feelings for, and that's very creepy because of the age difference and the fact that he's her teacher as well, yuck. If I had a wife and she came and told me that she had feelings for another man, but hasn't acted on her feelings yet. I would thank her for telling me and then I would divorce her so then that way she could go be with that dude freely. I forgive a whole lot except when it comes to being in relationships I am 100% serious about all of them. That's just like you finding out that your girlfriend or boyfriend cheated on you, their response is it was an accident, or we were just playing. I love you so much my friend!! Have a great day!! Good Night from me!! Stay safe!!
