hey guys, im Sophia and I'm 15 years old and live in Adelaide. you guys inspire me so much to be happy. i get bullied everyday at school, i get food thrown at me and stuck to my locker, being called names and making me so insecure about myself as a person. just yesterday me and my boyfriend broke up. we were about to hit 3 months on the 5th of May. i loved him so much with all my heart and he did too. then i had a friend call me saying she had heard hm flirting with other girls during classes and i know him so well to know he wouldnt have been but he did own up to it which killed but i was happy that he was honest with me. that same night i had another friend call me a few minutes later showing me a screenshot that he told her he was planning on breaking up with me. when i heard her tell me that and send me the screenshot i was so broken. i only slept for about 3 to 4 hours that night (two nights ago). i was on the floor in my bathroom locked up crying and having anxiety attacks (as i already have severe anxiety etc and was already having an anxiexty attack about going back to school) because i was scared he was going to do it the next day. which...he did. he said he felt like we were drifting but i didnt. i still loved him and tried to make things work after us being in my room kissingand mum walked in and thought it was something else even though it wasnt and mum was really considering breaking us up. when she decided not to because she didnt want to take him away from me i told him. the only thing was, that he was acting strange (this was the next day when we finally talked for the first time since what happened) and i was just asking himas he was going to break up with me if its because hes scared to be with me anymore because of what happened? he said no not really but i could tell that it was upsetting him. i also asked him if he just wanted to take a break for a few days and have time to ourselves or did he wanna just stop completely. he said he just wanted to stop completely saying he wasnt feeling the same about me anymore and he said he was starting to get feelings for another girl. i was broken, shattered, confused, just in a bad state of mind. he asked if we could be friends though and i said yeah thats okay because i didnt want to lose all connections or have our group of like 16 friends split up because of this. he broke up with me just before we got on the bus (as we catch the same bus to and from school and then comes when we get to school i get off the bus at the shops opposite the school and as we were getting off the bus i saw him and he kind of gave me a bad look. i went into the shops to see if my friends were there as most of the kids from our school go there either before or after and quite a lot go both and when i was in there, i saw some of the girls who bully me and saw me crying and they were starring at me and laughing and then started taking photos and sending it to friends the rest of their huge group of like 20 which is boys and girls. its the "cool" kids but i dont see absolutely anything cool about them as all the do is bully me and occasionally others and they smoke, drink, do drugs etc. they bully me so bad so much to the point i dont want to come to school and i cry myself to sleep and have sleepless nights, cause me panic and anxiety attacks etc and i cant take it anymore. when i actually got to school they kept bugging me asking "oh did you and Nick break up" and weremaking fun of me and so i tried to call my bestfriend (she left my school due to bullying too) to help me but they said to me "oh go call youre mummy and cry" and laughed and made fun of me and started listening in to my conversations and they came up to me and asked me again if me and Nick broke up and i said to them "does it matter, does it matter to you? is it youre buisness?!" they said no so i said "well then you dont need an answer.. so go away"and then they started throwing food at me and laughing at me and i could see Nick when i turned around and it just made me start crying so much more and i couldnt handle it. i just wanted to run away and never come back. i went and told a teacher who im close with and talk to her about literally everything. once i got back, that group had stuck some cupcake or something on my locked and smudged it on there and of course i got really upset. i was already heart broken form me and Nick breaking up and then them making things worse. i had my friends come up to me saying they yelled at him and kicked and slapped him for doing this to me but i told them not to but they still did it. it honestly just made things worse. he wouldnt even look at me anymore and if he saw me hed look away, you could tell by his face he was upset too but it still didnt help having my friends do what they did. then comes on the bus after school, he saw me and smiled. i just kind of turned around and cried because i was still just so upset that i couldnt look at him and i was upset about the bullies. then as he got off i gave him a smile andhe kind of gave me a not so nice look so that upset me again. when i got home i just cried and cried. i took all the photos down and taking that necklace he gave me when he got back from his week trip that was a silver heart with my name on it and a little diamond on it, and just taking it off and putting it in a box with all the photos honestly killed me so much. i slept with mum that night and when i woke up this morning i just started crying again straight away and i know that last night i messaged him and we agreed on being friends, i was just still so upset about it and when i went to my room i just stood at the door crying. i cant even go in my room without knowing that me and Nick were here a lot watching movies on my tv and cuddling and if i was standing up he would come behind me and hug me so tight and kiss my cheek or he would hug me tightly from the front and kiss my forehead and tell me how much he loves me and whenever he could tell i was hurting about something he would tell me to sit on the bed and he would hug me and put cute movies on and get us all cozy with my nice fluffy blanket. and in the mornings before we walked to the bus stop he would call me and we would get ready together. i just have so much to remember in my room and whenever im in it or near it i just get pictures in my head of us in there. knowing that hes not my boyfriend anymore just makes me want to curl up in a ball and die honestly. ive never loved a boy more then him and this has just absolutely crushed me. i havent really been able to fully even smile yet. today at recess i was with the group and Nick was there. we talked a bit (as friends) just having a laugh. yes we had alaugh but it just was so horrible having that happen and knowing that were not together anymore and were just friends. i still sometmes move away and go somewhere else to cry and i havent really even been in any classes today, ive been in the wellbeing hub trying to calm down and get my mind off of it and the bullies who still keep going today. and I also just found out today that he lost feelings for me about a week ago (I asked him) and I had my friend feeling bad for me to tell me this but she didn’t want to hide it from me and she sent a screenshot that he was saying he has feelings for her and she asked him if he did even whilst we were dating... and he said yes. so I asked him to be honest and tell me how long he’s liked her for and had feelings for her for. he said for about 3 weeks. i am so dead inside but glad he told me the truth. I know he’s not my boyfriend anymore and I hate using the term “ex boyfriend” and it’s killing me badly but at least we are friends even though I still keep crying during classes and at home about just this whole situation with him. so what im doing now is watching you guys and you guys always make me smile and inspire me to keep smiling and be happy. i always look up to you guys so much. ive been watching you guys for about 2 years you probably more but i cant remember.you never fail to make me smile or laugh even in the worst of times. i thought that me and Nick would end up being like you guys one day but i guess not. im hoping that sometime soon or in a while i dont care when, i will wait but i just want to sort things out and be with him and him only. as far as the bullies go, my school does nothing about it, all they do is talk to them nothing else. theyve poured food and soft drinks of me and Nick before when we were still together. ive stood up to them so many times and told them to back off etc and they still do it. i dont want to come to school anymore. but i will try to keep my head up high for you guys and try to smile. not that ive been able to much yet anyway but i will try to push through this. you guys are honestly so amazing and i dream to be like you guys one day. i love you guys so much. kerrrrrm onnnn. another day, another vlog/dog ahaha. but first, coffee. aha i love you guys. -Sophia
