I was talking to the screen saying “you forgot the sugar!” Lol! These are granny green beans and they are delicious! The trick is to be sure and put that sugar in there and cook ALL the liquid out. The bean will make a popping/crackling sound when they are glazed probably. Oh so so delicious! Y’all have a blessed weekend. ❤️🙏

I saw this on collard valley cooks, she only added olive oil and sugar, I’ve been making them ever since. So good but it takes awhile

My Mom used fresh green beans or another kind that I can’t remember the name of. She added sliced uncooked bacon and onions. I don’t know about other seasonings. Probably not more salt. They were so good.
