Key's recipe for Dog friendly waffles:
3tbsp Grain free flour, eg buckwheat
2tsp oil
3 to 4 tbsp of milk
1tsp baking powder (optional to help them rise)
Mix to a thick batter, add more milk or flour to the right consistency.
Optional extras:
Peanut butter
Banana
Carob (a dog friendly chocolate substitute)
This is an occasional treat, not a meal replacement. Don't add sugar or sweeteners.

I am laying here recovering from surgery and this has brought both smiles and laughs. Key licking the milk being poured into the bowl really made me chuckle. You know, if you hadn't thought about it already, you could do an episode where you, Jodie, show us other humans how you really make Key's waffles so those in your subscriber group who do have doggos can make em. I don't have dogs, but I am still a huge advocate for the notion of sticking closest to Nature, rather than constantly feeding our animal companions something that would cause health or behavior issues down the line. Heck, I even know of a Lab/Bull Terrier mix who can't have lamb in his diet because there's something about the lamb-based dog foods or treats that brings out the aggressive side of the Terrier DNA. I'm not sure how/why this happens, but it does. Otherwise, he is a big ol' goofy couch-stealing, bed-hogging (according to my BFF) love bug. 😅😜
