I am planning on purchasing the Epic 3 next week and have been looking to see if there's videos that might help me understand how to embroider on it. Your video looks like it's going to be very helpful. Can't wait to get my machine. I have never owned a Viking before so this is all going to be very new to me.

Yes I am working on some special designs just for the 465 x 260 hoop but I will split them for those who do not have this enormous hoop.

Beautiful design Hazel, the instant attraction for me was the lovely satin edge of the heart. I was fascinated by how easily the needle was threaded on your EPIC 3, is this a new mehtod?

No, Husqvarna machines have had this system for a while.

Sorry this is stupid but where are all the different color threads? I dont understand, are you loading the colors before hand? How many colors can this hold? So confused

The threads are placed on the top of the machine. There are 2 spool holders. I have to change the thread for each new colour as directed on the screen. Only commercial embroidery machines do this automatically.

Happily I have a good deal of space. Hubby just finished our 22 x 12 attic into a sewing room and I have 3 8-footx4-foot tables arranged in a u-shape for my machines.
