I think xiao surprised ne the most because I knew he was handsome but he looks better and better everyday. Also I think everyone will agree with me that we couldn't hear much from xiao in their debut, so I wasn't sure about his voice, but then they dropped their albums and other stuff and I was like head in heavens knowing that we got another power vocal in the NCT vocal squad. And look at him now. Amazing.

I think out of all of them, my impressions of Xiaohenyang are the most different then and now even if I started stanning after their debut. For Xiaojun, my first impression was that he was a really sentimental but kind of like, a loner. Also yeah I thought he was normal too lmao. Now I think he’s indeed sentimental but he’s not a loner at all, he really needs to feel appreciated by other people, like, he needs support and all. Also I love him but he’s way more of a local than I would have ever thought 😂 For Yangyang, ummm I’m not really sure how to say it. The kid literally made me stan nct after I watched his iconic live with Ten (the one in the hotel). I thought he was older actually, even if he’s still a bit older than me, but like I didn’t think he was the maknae, I thought he was like, the same age as Ten. So I always knew he had that playful, sibling-like energy but now it’s even more the case lmao 😂 Now i ult him and, idk if this counts, but my first impression of yangqis also changed from immature and childish to hilarious 😂 Yangqis’ humor is superior 😂 AND Hendery, for whom I had the most different impression before. He was very chaotic to me, and very funny, like, a living meme, you know. He still is but there’s so much more to him actually. Also I actually never realised how handsome he was before ?? Like ?? Hendery's the ultimate revelation for me. I really thought he's all shy and serious (with right amount of Funny cells in him) But bruh, 2020 came. It showed me a W.I.L.D Hendery. He literally shed all of my expectations and became a Confident QUEEN.

But you'll not see that w the other members, only WayV. He always seems distant and cold even when the other 127 members are smothering him w love, my honest opinion is that he feels v detached in 127, the fact that he is barely seen in 127 MVs makes it worse. WayV was very good for him in terms of letting the real winwin out. Lucas: hyper, very energetic, goofball, moodmaker Now: the same, but tbh Henyang make him look normal and chill. I love how much Lucas loves WayV. He is a massive sweetheart too, and is v observant and kind. Xiaojun: didnt even notice him much when I first got into WayV; initially in WayV i was all about Ten and Lucas. I just knew he was vocal line when i saw Rainbow V, thought he was just normal. Now: GUESS WHO IS MY ULT BIAS NOW? Xiao DEjun. What happened? Make A Wish. The yellow hair, the stunning visuals, the stable live singing, the amazing dance. To be honest, MAW allowed Xiaojun to shine in a way WayV's songs didnt (for me at least). Now after all the livestreams, 2 reality shows and variety I also realized how funny he is, not Hendery that kind of comedian humour, but he is just hilarious in his daily actions, and he is soo soo soooo babie and cute esp when he is fighting for his life when getting roasted/exposed by his members. Hendery: princely looks (he looks a bit mixed blood too), chill, regular nice guy who is v sweet (the presents he gave winwin!) Now: nobody makes me laugh more than Hendery. He is a born comedian, though he is v flexible and good dancer, he can make his body language awkward for comic purposes, his reflexes are super fast, he speaks really well, he is total crackhead who carried WayVision season 1 on his back Yangyang: savage (when i have a son I'm going to call him Eleven, cos he's gonna dance better than you);. bratty, tries to be swag, but is just more cute than swag (cant forget him singing crocodile song in german...so adorbs!) Now: more and more alpha by the day. By the time he reaches Ten's age, he will be unstoppable. Swag now too.

Haha after 3 years but that's fine: My impression of some of them changed 180° 😂!! Especially Ten! I used to think he's just a funny guy, dirty-minded all the time, says questionable stuff, 🤣 & hilarious. (The fun fact is he's my ultimate bias now not just in NCT but in the whole K-pop, lmao.) this is such an interesting take and I'm so sad i only just discovered this video :( for me personally, and i discuss this w all my nctzen friends, sicheng really changed so much from nct to wayv. of course I'm still upset that we were never given a notice of his departure from 127, however, i think that wayv has given me a chance to know winwinw better as a person. yes he's introverted still, but he's very witty. he's really comfortable with the wayv members and i love how they never push him to do anything he doesn't want to do-hence he probably feels more comfortable. all the acts of love directed for his members have been from his own heart. he shines so much brighter in wayv, not just as an artist/idol, but as a person.

Honestly the only first impression I really remember is Winwin, just cause I knew that literally EVERYONE loved him and like the whole love triangle/square/infinity sign who knows now and I didn't understand it cause he was like so quiet and didn't get any lines and looked pretty uncomfortable with all of the attention. Now, I understand, but its still surprises and impresses me how much more confident and expressive he's gotten since being in WayV. Also, I had a somewhat weird introduction to nct in general, cause I knew of them since their debut kinda (like just seeing their music vids pop up here and there, on the fringe of the groups I stanned a ton) but I only listened to like Limitless and Mad City and I knew they had a shit ton of members and subgroup system was confusing and Dream was not my cup of tea style wise. Then SuperM came and by then I already knew Taeyong, Mark, and Lucas cause they hella recognizable and I knew the other members of SuperM already but Ten was a big mystery. Flash forward to now, Ten is my ult (right under TOP), and got me to finally delve into the nct world. So happy I did. I almost exculsively watch nct related fun vids on my own, cause having a best friend who is also into Kpop means you get to explore way more it than you ever thought you would lol.
