This video is about my impressions on the 2nd gen 2023 #Ford Territory which was launched in the Philippine market last April 2023. Its a much improved version from the previous model and will likely sell in the Philippines

Ganda. Mas maganda keysa keysa dating model. Medyo nakakaworry lang yung reliability ng touch control, controp know at yung chrome parts parang ma fate katagalan.

Ford is Ford no matter what! Though, they say FT is a rebadged car, still Ford has a better standard when it comes to safety features, quality, and other things unlike cars originally from China. Maybe after how many years, new upcoming cars will have the same instrument cluster design, even other cars from Mercedes Benz now have the same instrument cluster and infotainment system.

Mercedes Benz been using that style of instrument cluster and infotainment system since 2018. If there's anything here, it's the Chinese who always try to copy every European car design language but, it's all good for me at least regular car buyers can experience those features albeit in a tad lower quality

Rotary shift knob is futuristic but questionable durability. Stick shift is always the best.

Nice review pero bro halos same lang nman ata sila ng tech ni geely, and actually mas lamang pa si coolray se with sunroof, automatic tailgate and more powerful engine. Lamang lang siguro nito yung yong bigger and more solid body and wider space. Yong apple car play and wireless charger kasi is both available naman sa aftermarket since much cheaper si geely with 1.25M pricetag then offset na rin.

Maganda din Geely. Kaso at first alam mo agad na China car. Madaming racist at haters. Ford is an american brand and designed in US. Mas mahal din at mas sosyal ang brand. Matagal na at kilala na talaga. Kung walang idea, hindi maiisip na made in China kasi at first hindi naman talaga. Dami na nga din naka Everest ngayon. Mabili na Ford kasi hindi na sila sobrang mahal kasi nakipartner na sa China dahil mas mura labor para maafford ng mga Pinoy. Although the Explorer and Expedition and also Mustang purely US talaga, kaya sobrang mahal padin nila.

Not sure about fuel consumption but I havent tested it yet but I think it will consume 6-8 kpl in the city and around 12kpl in highway

Oo kasi ang iba shift kaagad to Park before handbrake. Brake, Neutral, Handbrake then Park para tatagal ang transmission

Ewan ko lang sa iba, pero ung sa sister ko na 2022 territory, ilang days lang, nasira ang transmission. Almost 2 months ang inabot sa pag repair kasi walang parts

Kamukha man, but it's still Ford. Ask people around, mas kilala at matagal na ang Ford sa Pinas. I'm in for the brand it holds. Almost same features let's say, but mas sosyal padin kapag naka Ford. Kasi known naman talaga siya as US brand and an american car. Kelan lang sila nagkaplanta sa China kasi mura labor nila. They want to be more affordable for the asians kaya nagkaron ng partnership. Just like cellphones nowadays, 100k pero made in China. Halos lahat na. Hehe

you guys keep on yapping it's a rebranded JMC. FYI....all foreign brand cars back in the 90s and 2000s need to do a joint venture with local China companies if they want to set up shop in China. It's a requirement. thats the main reason why you see a lot of JVs in China.

Daming nag cocomment sa siraing transmission. Paano kasi, Park kaagad bago mag handbrakes. Di magtatagal tranny mo nyan. Dapat kasi, Apak sa brakes, Neutral, Handbrakes and then shift to Park.

Ok lang naman na rebadge na chinese car ang Territory. since hindi naman nalalayo ang quality, reliability ng Ford cars at ng mga chinese cars. Mukhang chinese car na talaga ang 2nd generation.

Ford is an american brand and designed in US. Made in China just like other phones nowadays kasi mura labor nila kaya para mas maafford ng Asians, nakipartner sila for assembly of the parts. Kelan pa naging chinese si Henry Ford.

I don't know if it's just me but I don't like the general appearance of this generation. Mukha kaseng generic. I mean most cars have this look, Chery Tiggo, Maxus D60, etc. I like the old one for its second stare, mapapa dalwang tingin ka talaga. I don't like yhr front facia of the old gen though because it looks like a Mirage pero I like the side profile and the rear. Lakas magkaka-Evoque yung likod.

Same with me. Mas me character ang 1st gen. Maangas tignan. Macho. Bang for the buck talaga. 1.3m pero pang 1.6m ang features. Joint venture un kasi me rules ang china na pag me planta ka sa kanila, kailangan me ka joint venture ka na chinese company. Vios nga at mirage made in phils e.

While the outgoing model was essentially a restyled Yusheng S330, the new Territory is a rebadged Equator Sport, the two-row version of the larger Equator, still developed by JMC-Ford.
