I feel really sad for this folashade lady but she strikes me as one of those women who will be shouting my husband ,my husband .My mum had the same upbringing close to hers except she was very smart ..her father wouldn't send her to school ,her mum took is a powerless house wive ..my mum did different types of odd jobs ,sold grandnut ,did Omoodo alakara ,did attendant at a bottling company,washed her friends clothes in school so she can at least have an NCE certificate ..from there she started teaching met my dad gave birth to just me and my brother until my dad was stable enough to send her back for her degree ,she just graduated her masters last month ..My mum as always told me my destiny is my hand if you reach for the sky you will fall amongst the clouds ,my mum's dream was to become a lawyer but since she couldn't she's a principal at government secondary.

None of them is going to school. The place they live someone gave them. The neighbors had tried that the children go to school, the father did not agree. They are northerners. No food for the kids, no clothes, no shoes. The wife told me that God gives children and she still want to have more children. Neighbors are the ones who feed them all the time. The guy told the wife that he's bringing another wife. Where they live is just pako oo. Suffering makes children do what they are not supposed to do. I suffered too oo. The suffering no be here. My father no wan see me, my mother no wan see me. I was the most intelligent girl in the class. The brightest. I would go from school to school for quiz and debate. I was to be given scholarship. But the school parents stood against it because I wasn't from that village. My principal felt very bad and asked to see my parents. None of them showed up. My mum was married, my dad was married and out of the country. In fact, my mum specifically said she doesn't want to see me on her wedding day. My principal said if the village won't give me scholarship, nobody would get it. My uni, I was the best till I graduated in my department. Till today, I can say I have only seen my father 4 times in my life. I am almost forty. If he sees me now, he can't recognize me. I just believe some people don't deserve children. You see that childhood trauma still dey my body. It's been God all the way.
