Love the collection Blacksmith. I regret having to sell my Infinity 40s&w but family needs came first. So now have a couple Staccatos and waiting on my Infinity Bonehead to arrive now.

I gave 3 Atlas pistols and didn’t think it could get any better. Then I got my Infinity… it’s another level up for sure. The fit, finish, and build quality is just impeccable.

I have Infinity IMM guns one bought used old style two port comp with round ports in the barrel, new one I ordered new style three port comp and square ports in the barrel. I shoot USPSA open with them, have over 5000 rounds on both. They show very little wear still tight, cleaned after every time out. And for those that don't know running loads that make major power factor are really dirty. I agree Infinity is the pinnacle of 1911 and 2011 in my opinion. I use them like fine tools not a jewel. Great fun and the reaction to someone that has never been around an open gun is great.

Awesome!! Appreciate your feedback. You definitely have a lot of experience with them. I’m nowhere near 1000 rounds on either one so this is good information. I currently don’t reload but may try to reload next year. You are absolutely right about people’s reactions. They cannot believe how flat opens guns shot. Jaw dropping and all smiles after the shooting them. Thanks for watching.

Hey Patrick!! Thank you sir. I love it. It’s adjustable based on your hand size. Also the placement of it allows your grip to feel more comfortable and natural compared to the others that sit directly over the trigger. Thanks for watching

Since I don’t have an atlas or and infinity, but I have a Phenix Trinity Honcho how does it compare?

Hey Patrick!! The Honcho is an amazing build and more versatile than any other gun in the market. The PTs linkless barrel is a great design. For the overall performance, trigger, fit / frame fit and action it ranks right up there with the Infinity. The slide to frame action is by far smoother than the Infinity. You definitely have one of the best on the market. I have one too and love it.

I never had the opportunity to handle one. I’m not into single stacks but the Insurrection looks pretty nice. I may look to purchase one when they come out with a bull barrel version. I’m sure Cabot’s Guns are one of the best built guns on the market but I would put them on the same level as Infinity. A Cabot custom build is way out of my price range. LOL. Thanks for watching.

I had one of the infinity race guns. It was nice, but I personally did not find anything to be an improvement of the Atlas guns. The screws are cosmetically prettier you can customize the colors, but it didn’t seem any smoother, tighter, etc than the Atlas. I had expected an elevated level, but for me I can’t say I could feel or see the difference. If personalization is a priority, then infinity wins. Other than that, I saw no quality, fit, or performance differences.

Hey Stephen!! Appreciate the feedback. I can see why you feel that way between the two. No doubt that Atlas is one of the best guns on the market. In my experience shooting both side by side, the Infinity has significant more weight and yes the screws are nicer😊. The Atlas slide to frame action is definitely smoother and the trigger is actually on par with Infinity. I never thought I would ever say anyone comes close to Atlas triggers. There are only very very slight differences such as materials, finish, and ergonomics where I like the Infinity race gun over the Atlas Chaos. As far as the other Altas guns are concerned, Infinity comes a close second to my Erebus and Artemis. Overall they are both great guns. Thanks again for your great feedback.

Hey Jack!! Tough question but I would have to say the Erebus would be the one. As much as I love the Infinity, they do not have a comparable design to the Erebus. I am getting an Infinity 9mm model next month so I will be doing a comparison between the two models. For now, the Erebus in the one. Thanks for your comment and watching.
